Come feel things in HD 💎

Last time Hannah Diamond rocked the PYXLS stage at Toolhuistuin and absolutely tore the house down. We still speak about the unforgettable atmosphere of that night.

This time we are set to go straight to HD Heaven. You don’t need an ov chipcard for this dreamy, hyper-real aesthetic journey. Destination: crystalline synths, polished vocals, themes of digital romance, heartbreak, and idealized beauty. @hannahdiamond_

Ready to get wRec’d? We are.

Real pixies already know Himera, and their ability to bring endless references and playfulness into the most abstract and unexpected sounds. This time, Himera joins forces with DJ Shahmaran; whose love for deep woozy basslines, deep-cut samples, and eclectic drums transports audiences an entirely new realm of sound and feeling.

Together they are wRec: taking us on a sonic adventure that tiptoes between the push and pull of brutal introspection and gentle yet loud expression.

Therapy might be expensive but wRec makes you feel free.

Coming to us all the way from Berlin.

LYZZA, originally from Brazil, will bring a full bag of tricks to Pyxls X HD Heaven for World Pride, Amsterdam. From club music, grime, pop, and noise. She has a way with rhythm, distortion and she will have you feeling emotions you can’t even name; and we are so ready to ride the emotional undercurrents of LYZZA’s ocean.

Jump in and experience her mastering sound, collective memory, and pop culture; soak yourself in moments that feel familiar even though you can’t explain why.

You can never be a loser, when LYZZA is in the room.

See you on on friday 💋 taken in Melkweg Amsterdam by @pyxlssss

World Pride is already in full force and this friday SONIKKU joins the PYXLS x HD Heaven lineup.

If you’re not familiar yet, get familiar with one of London’s most exciting producers! Coming up through the city’s queer underground scene and a resident at Adonis, Sonikku has worked with the likes of our lord and saviour SOPHIE, as well as Ava Max and more recently with promising young pop star ADÉLA.

The baddest bitches are in NL, currently, and we expect your presence at Melkweg to dance to the explosive club music, razor sharp pop and glossy melodies that Sonikku will provide.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that the upcoming edition of pixels on April 18 will no longer be happening.

As you guys know, curating a unique and coherent sonic experience is a major priority to the PYXLS team. We work hard to create a lineup that tells a story with the artists we select; and many of you shared our excitement for seeing eurohead alongside FREE JIMI and screenage dj.
So upon hearing that eurohead would not be able to join due to personal circumstance, we decided it would be best to no longer go ahead with this edition for the time being.

Ticket spot for this edition will be valid for the next edition. It is sooner than expected and we still want to bring FREE JIMI and screenage dj to our dance floor. However, if you wish to request for a refund details will be provided for you to do so via email from Melkweg.

We are working hard to create another opportunity sometime this year to bring eurohead to PYXLS. And of course, as always, we are in the works of bringing a PYXLS Edition, next month that we can all be proud of, so stay tuned!

We love you guys so much. Thanks for the continuous support. Thanks to Melkweg, eurohead, free jimi dj screenage etc for working so hard to make this happen despite it all. Looking forward to working with you soon.🤍 taken in Melkweg Amsterdam by @pyxlssss

January 28th marks PYXLS’ third anniversary.🍾

We’ve dropped hints, and you picked them up like we knew you would!
We can always trust the PYXLS gang to be at the scene of good music.

XL Recordings (@xlrecordings) and PYXLS have joined forces to bring Amsterdam a special FREE early album listening and film screening of none other than Danny L Harle’s (@dannylharle) forthcoming album Cerulean.

❌❌❌
Amsterdam will be the one of the first in the world to experience Cerulean and its exceptional cast of collaborators including Caroline Polachek, Clairo, PinkPantheress, Oklou, MNEK, Julia Michaels, and newer voices such as kacha- alongiside Lilian Hardouineau’s film that voyages into Cerulean’s vast sonic landscapes.

And of course, to make a special event even more PYXLS we will have long time favourite, Himera (@hey.himera), opening and closing the screening with a dj set you can’t sit down for.

A cerulean sandwich with Himera bread? Broodje ham haas is so over.

This event is free.

RSVP for a ticket (link in bio).

Admission will be granted in order of arrival until capacity is reached.

So ticket does not guarantee entry!
Come early.

💙

Wednesday 28th January @ Tolhuistuin,
see you x
