The glitter has settled, the stages have dimmed, and WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 has come to an end. Over the past two weeks, Melkweg became home to a celebration of queer film, music, nightlife and community in the form of Club Chrome, featuring Durand Bernarr, We Are Them, Violet Chachki, Club Víttar, Peaches, BIXARIA, STRIPTOPIA, PYLXS and many more.

But queer joy doesn't end when Pride does. Discover the events that keep shaping our programme throughout the year on our website melkweg.nl. We’d love to see you soon again.

🧞‍♀️ COMPY STUFF 🧞‍♀️

📜: Still climbing as much as ever but had more of a focus on perfecting boulders around 6C. Reason being is a slight injury in my pinky due to over crimping. However properly warming up & having a hangboard routine almost fixed it!!! I'm also a lot more careful now with full crimping ;)

🪨: Amazing compstyle boulder. Loved the first two moves. Basically full commitment is required for the whole boulder. Fell off the first two moves so many times...
Will definitely be warming up on this one for the sessions to come!!

🎶: H2D (Eurohead x Varg²™️)
Been addicted to eurohead & varg (dj worm) as of late. EuroEDM is just such a vibe. I was supposed to see @eurohead_____ at @pyxlssss (big love!!) but unfortunately that show was cancelled... Still seeing him at Thaiboys show tho!!

There’s not a more iconic way to come back from a five-month break than an all-nighter at Garage Noord. But then again, you wouldn’t expect Amsterdam’s own YoungWoman to return to the scene with anything less than a bang. After all, her go-to track when self-doubt creeps in is Skrillex’s “Bangarang,” so it’s safe to say she has a thing for all things banging.

Her sonic universe follows suit. Her sets pit genres like dubstep, EDM, hyperpop, trance, and drum & bass against each other, a repertoire that keeps shifting and expanding. This year’s theme is rock & roll: music that “causes mania on the dancefloor,” that you “can’t be indifferent about.” Leaving you with exactly one choice: dance, or dance.

As we gear up to watch this new chapter of YoungWoman unfold on Friday night, we caught up with Alma to talk about the journey that brought her here, the one that lies ahead, and everything Amsterdam in between.

The whimsical mist surrounding Willem Feltzer’s AV opening set. YoungWoman handing out a speeding ticket to the crowd, and Danny proving his legendary status. PYXL’s ADE edition was iconic, to say the least. There’s a lot to live up to — so mark your calendars and save the date for Saturday 18 April.
