Big difference between a “Go” Ball & throwing a “back shoulder” on a fade

People think “fade” and “go” are essentially the same.

Truth is our protection, other route concepts, and our footwork are quite different - not to mention the throw

There are different rules and nuances depending on which part of the field we are on and throwing to - in this example, we’re throwing to the field.
Ex. Trips to the boundary (FSL) with single receiver to the field

Little better angle from the backside on the warmup we use to start every session

Guy who showed me this drill was the leading passer in D3 (until recently) and was throwing footballs through the roof of arena leagues

Big advocate for this one

Off-season prep is most effective with the right equipment.
Getting reps with @thedimelab — the ball built for players who take their craft seriously.

Getting shoulder around, momentum towards target, and using body and not just arm = good results

Having a stacked base (where your power is) = more controlled throws

Big advocate for warming up the feet and the mind to get started

Shoutout COACH E for this one

When rolling out (especially to our off hand side) - setting up and popping to throw requires emphasis on momentum going forward. Don’t fade

Working being controlled rolling out and throwing on the run. Being on the move introduces a number of variables we want to minimize by being under control & intentional with our movements

In the span of an hour we were able to achieve a lot more body control and get more power behind our throw

Looking forward to working with this freshman more going forward #qbtraining #quarterback by @qbcoachandries
