Dear Sam,

It has been an amazing journey to this point, son. While I am so proud of you for being one heck of a football player, my love and my pride for you has everything to do with who you are as a young man. The world is a better place with you in it and I’m so proud to be your Dad.

God has blessed you with physical talent and ability, while also giving you a tremendous burning desire to be great. To always feel like there’s something more. To always push harder and be better. And that’s your true gift. Because that will carry you through life when football ends.

As you start this journey tomorrow night, playing your first high school football game, I admit that I will initially struggle with not being able to coach you for the first time in 11 years. But I will also enjoy watching you and appreciating you from a completely different perspective as a Dad. And I can’t wait for this new chapter of your football life to begin.

I love you, buddy.

@supreme_queens_flag tryouts are 2 1/2 weeks away on Sunday, October 18th.

•HS from 12pm-1:30pm
•MS from 2pm-3:30pm

Travel Team will head to @battle7v7 @redzoneelitefb @my7on7 @midamerica7v7 @ce_7even @pylon7on7 events.

Local Team will play Friday nights in the @sawmillsportshub girls flag league.

Practice on Sundays at Sawmill in Willowbrook, IL.
