Join us in welcoming Dr. Hortencia Jiménez to the lineup of incredible women in the Queens of Tequila documentary👑✨

Dr. Jiménez brings the cultural and historical lens to Queens of Tequila — from Mayahuel, the goddess of agave, to tequila’s roots in ritual and healing. A professor of over two decades with a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, she’s a published author and storyteller exploring identity, culture, and the Latinx experience.

We’re honored to have her voice in this story🎬

As we continue celebrating the behind the scenes shots of the documentary filming @queens_of_tequila, we can't help but fall in love with the master distiller @hermosillo_leticia and her family. Hearing the story, all the sacrifices and hard work to create one of the most beautiful distilleries where @cavadeoro and @sip_amatitan are produced, along with other amazing tequila spirits. Leticia demonstrates great pride in her children and in all the hard work they do at the distillery, from master distillers like her sons @apartida1477 and @gildardo_partida, to great marketing skills from @ph_leticia, @josselin_mpartida, and Yocely Partida. Her passion is like a fine aged tequila! Did we mention how much she loves to sing and how much they love their dogs! Stay tuned for the release of this documentary! We can’t wait for you to hear her story! #queensoftequila #tequila #méxico #agave #womensupportingwomen by @queens_of_tequila
