"you know why your love is yours" 2025.

this project remains unfinished but i needed to document the current process anyway. while creating this video, i realized just how much this project resonated with me. to exist within what felt like a community of queerness, was so incredibly beautiful to me.
music is "it never entered my mind" from the album "workin" by the miles davis quartet. this song and album have been very important to me the last few years, so it only felt right to include this track in my video. "it" is always entering my mind and i hope that comes across in this piece. taken in Los Angeles, California by @queercreations_

pinhole camera + darkroom made images shown @flicksandsips last night

each print was made in collaboration with @abigailmoone as a reflection of how clothing & fashion reflects the many facets of their gender identity. they very kindly sat still for twelve and a half minutes in order for each of these photographs to be made!

everything is one of one which makes showing this at such a hands on show all the more special taken in Flavors From Afar by @queercreations_

garden daydream, reconstructed from memory (2023)

last month at @folddtla i was able to show a few pieces for a queer curated show! this image transfer collage, made out of a 35mm image i shot during a beautiful afternoon with some forever friends of mine, sold. i feel very grateful for the opportunity to have been featured in this show & to have been able to forge a connection so deep with someone, that they took this very special mini-quilt home. by @queercreations_

predictably late to relishing my favorite moments shot on film in 2025. a year of exploring my own queerness & forging connections within my community. grateful for each and every person photographed as well as the creativity they allowed me to explore with these images!

i look forward to future endeavors & finally bringing my on-going projects to completion this year taken in Los Angeles, California by @queercreations_
