Miglior Film a Venezia Orizzonti e Queer Lion 2025.

🇲🇽 Solo in versione originale spagnola sottotitolata in italiano

✨ Lights on the Lido, cinema in the air and one queer night by the sea. 🎬🌊

At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, we celebrated the 20th edition of the Queer Lion Award at Aurora Beach bringing together international cinema, queer culture, music, drag performances and plenty of dancing. 🦁🏳️‍🌈

We were delighted to welcome an exceptional group of guests, including three-time Academy Award-winning costume designer @thesandypowell; actors @humbertobusto, @samlouwyck and @r1ouioui; filmmakers @nathaliaacevedo and @gianlumata; and Venice Days programmer @cedr_ics.

Today, the spotlight returns to cinema as the jury reveals which of the 12 films in competition will receive the 20th Queer Lion Award. 🏆🎞️

A special thank you to Gran Canaria, proud sponsor of the Queer Lion Award; @gayit, media partner; and Aurora Beach for hosting us and a special show by @porcahontas69 and @morgana.cosmica.

And the Queer Lion goes to…

See you later today. ✨🦁
