That moment when you experience your FIRST-EVER Raku!!!!

Moments from the Wheel & Wood queer pottery retreat in October 🔥🪵🏺

Raku is an ancient Japanese firing technique that blends fire, smoke, and natural materials to create unpredictable, one-of-a-kind finishes to your pottery.

Such an incredible experience that our potters got to be hands on, loading and firing their pieces themselves, playing with the fire, and learning from the world renowned @brucedehnert. Forever grateful to him, and to @sugarmaples_art_center 🔥🧡

My favorite part of pottery night is when strangers become friends 🥹🫰👯‍♀️

Lots of laughs at this one ❤️‍🔥

Don’t forget our next event is TONIGHT! Choplet is hosting a “Clay & Mezcal” event and we get to crash it at a special price 👀

Original price is $110/person
Choplet is opening it to Queer Pottery for $95/person 🩷 (that’s $15 more than our usual price for unlimited cocktails 😏)

As always, this is beginner friendly and all included: clay, instruction, firing, AND drinks!
