We couldn’t do what we do without the support of the community, the swappers, the crafters, our volunteers. Thank you for helping our little dream become what it is today.

Are you an LGBT+ workshop facilitator looking for a new home for your activities? Come host at QueerSwap studio for free!

With communal tools and equipment, and wardrobes of art supplies, it's a creatives dream come true.

Examples of workshops and activities that can be hosted in the space:

Creatives Speed Mating/Dating
Film Nights
Sewing Workshops/Upcylcing Textiles
Crochet
Writing/Poetry
Book Clubs
Painting
Life Drawing/Sketching
Lino Printing
Embroidery
and much more!

We also have a kitchenette with free tea and coffee, and outside food/drink is permitted, reducing the pressure to purchase food/drinks and making activities more financially accessible.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,

All ye fair royalty and jesters (both welcome), are cordially invited to thy Sxc Scraps medieval Princxss and Jester Hat Workshoppe.

Choose thy inclination: shall ye be spookye? Mayhaps gothique! Frilly or faire? All dastardly ideas shall be brought henceforth by thyselves.

Beginner crafter here? Never fear! Crafty divas of all levels shall unite.

Medieval garb encouraged, however fear not the stocks for lack of garb, our executioner has a day off.

Materials:
All trims, ribbons, bits & bobs be provided, thou art encouraged to bring any 2nd hand trinkets, or broken jewellery to add for maximum (see chainmail escoffion above)!

Thy Host:
Sxc Scraps is but a sewist of many-a-year (ten-and-eight to be precise), and a teacher of sewing & sustainability running classes and workshoppes for all ages and skill levels.
