Yall we are SO excited to launch our first Sapphic Socials next Saturday, September 19!

This will be an afternoon made for sapphics to meet, mingle, make new friends, flirt a little (with consent) and connect with community!

Come solo or bring your crew and spend the day enjoying Dyke Bingo, games, prizes, drinks, fun icebreakers, and plenty of opportunities to meet somebody new. Whether you’re looking for new friends, a cute connection, or simply more sapphic community, this is for you.

This space welcomes all sapphic women, trans folks, and nonbinary folks of all identities and expressions. All attendees are expected to respect everyone, no racism, homophobia, transphobia or disrespect of any kind will be tolerated and we have the right to ask you to leave our event.

Expect good vibes, cute people, lots of laughs, and a room full of sapphics. 💕🌈

Come hang with us and help kick off the first of many Sapphic Socials in Philly!

Had the opportunity to host the DC advance screening of Dreams in Nightmares, the sophomore film from writer and director Shatara Michelle Ford. 🎬🌈

The film follows Z (Denée Benton) as she travels across the Midwest with her two closest friends in search of a friend who has seemingly disappeared, exploring Black queer friendship, chosen family, and what it means to find space to dream and exist in an increasingly complicated country.

Getting to introduce the film and be part of the conversation afterward made this screening especially meaningful, and I’m excited for more people to experience it.

Film was absolutely breathtaking y’all.

Dreams in Nightmares opens in select theaters August 21.

I know I’m late to the party yall but I was just able to check out LGP in Philly and … is it cheating to say I like it more than the DC location ? 👀😭

The high ceilings, the attention to detail, AND THEY HAVE HAPPY HOUR?! Like come on. I do love the upscale vibe of the dc one, but this one I felt more at home? Idk lmk your thoughts if you’ve been to the philly location.

🃏♠️Hey Philly Queers!
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to play spades, here’s your chance! This Sunday from 2-6pm at Two Locals, we’ll be teaching folks the rules of the game, how to count your books, and why you shouldn’t renege lol. This will be a safe space to learn so if your hesitation has been the fear of being yelled at, don’t worry, we’re patient teachers 😉. So gather your courage, bring a friend, and let’s have a drink over a game of spades. We can’t wait to see you there 🤍

🥹🌈 New Sapphic Bar Alert

Philadelphia officially has a new sapphic space, and after stopping by Val’s, I can definitely see why people are already talking about it. From the welcoming atmosphere to the cocktails, happy hour, and the energy in the room, it already feels like a place people are excited to gather.

Queer spaces don’t happen by accident—they exist because people show up and support them. So if you’re in Philly (or planning a trip), add this one to your list and show them some love.

Have you been yet? What did you think? 👇
