So absolutely humbled and excited to announce publicly that I have joined the Board of Directors for QueerVox as a Co-Chair of Academy Programming. Education has always been one of my greatest professional loves and I’m so excited to be stepping back into it in this role, bringing wonderful teachers to those who want to learn how to be a Voice Actor. Queer Vox is a non-profit organization providing training and professional support for LGBTQIA+ voice actors in the entertainment industry while advocating for equitable opportunities and authentic representation in voice performance work.Florence Wilder is a classically-trained, modernly-tempered actor in film, VO, and theatre. Their voice is in places like Indeed.com, Coca-Cola, Sentai Filmworks, and more. They are also the President of Queer Vox Academy, a non-profit providing training and professional support to LGBTQIA+ voice actors in the entertainment industry.Passionate about using voiceover to create meaningful change, Allegra Verlezza is a Queer Vox board member, a Blue Wave Voiceover member, and has provided VO for many progressive candidates and non-profits including The Trevor Project and GLAAD.Have you bought your tix to Flame Con yet!? Diversifying Your VO Genres for Career Stability will help you focus on adding new genres to grow your voiceover business, increase your repeat clients, and shows you how the non-broadcast genres like e-learning, explainer videos, and corporate narration can be the “foundation” of your VO house.
