A privilege: having a family to love.

I can’t stop watching our pictures & videos from this weekend. It wasn’t just a marriage we celebrated, it felt like a ceremony of thanksgiving for all the little miracles God gave us throughout this past year.

Only we know what each and every one of us had to walk through to make it to this weekend. The prayers we prayed, the battles we fought, the tears we shed, and the moments where we had to trust God even when we couldn’t see what He was doing.

And yet, here we are.

I am thankful. Every. Single. Day. For these 30 human beings.

Sometimes I don’t think we fully realize how fortunate we are to have one another, to have a village of people who love you enough to tell you the truth, who celebrate with you, who give you a shoulder to cry on, and who will stop everything to pray with you, no matter the time of day.

There is something so beautiful about having people who know your story, who have walked through seasons with you, and who continue to choose each other through it all.

What a blessing it is to have a family that loves deeply. A family that prays together. A family that can be an example to other families simply by loving one another well.

So many answered prayers in one weekend.

Today we celebrate 5 years of @goodearthhkitchen 💚

What an honor it is to be part of this journey. Just two years ago, my mom @rosesantoshealthcoach invited me into this “crazy adventure”… and if I’m being honest, that first year God stretched me,I didn’t like it and thought this would be just a temporary thing (James 1:2–3)

Now, stepping into year two, I’m officially transitioning into a greater leadership role. I won’t lie, I’m scared. But I’ve also found my place. I’ve fallen in love with our team, our little restaurant, the community we’ve built, and most importantly, the mission.

A mission rooted in purpose (Ephesians 2:10)

I’ve learned that when something is built on principles grounded in God, it prospers (Psalm 127:1)

I’m ready for the late nights, the planning, the brainstorming and for the opportunity to empower more young entrepreneurs like myself.

Mom, thank you for trusting me with your dream. I don’t take it lightly. I promise to make the most of it.

Here’s to 5 years… and everything ahead. 💚 taken in Good Earth Holistic Kitchen Restaurant by @quelrochaaa
