Solo Exhibition at Palazzo Esposizioni, Rome.

Eight works unfold throughout Palazzo Esposizioni, exploring the tension between nature and technology, matter and energy, chaos and control.

Air, gravity, light, sound and movement give physical presence to forces that often remain invisible.

Ladies & Gentlemen this is @quiet_ensemble !

E questo è solo l’inizio.

“Firmamento” unfolds as a suspended fragment of the cosmos. A constellation of light reveals a hidden geometry through gradual shifts of light and shadow.

Guided by a score drawn from cosmic time, the installation cycles through transformations where light appears, dissolves, and recomposes, while a soundscape of sonified astronomical data resonates as a distant yet intimate presence.

Together, light and sound shape an ephemeral landscape a bridge between the human and the cosmic.

An immersive light installation located at the majestic Gazometro in Rome, an iconic structure that rises into the sky like a gigantic magnifying glass pointed at the cosmos.

This visual spectacle invites viewers on a cosmic journey, starting from the Earth’s crust, traverses tree canopies, clouds, nebulas, stars, and black holes, eventually landing on a sparkling grain: perhaps a sun, a galaxy, or a firefly.

Nebula challenges viewers to recognize the grandeur of both the infinitely large and the microcosm, transforming their perception of the world and inviting them to see art and science as a unified journey in exploring the universe.

Nebula is a site-specific installation by Quiet Ensemble with original music by @giorgiomoroder.

Solardust - nebular luminescence
An immersive light installation that transforms the space into a celestial realm. Floating stars, suspended within a cloud-like structure, emit a delicate glow, resembling light dust. The dynamic particles, like digital fireflies, move in constant motion, creating the illusion of light emerging from nothingness. The interplay of vibrant colors and fluid motions invites viewers into a transcendent experience, blurring the lines between light and reality.

Once plunged into darkness, visitors are surprised to discover dozens of soap bubbles floating in space. All are filled with thick white smoke, making them opaque objects. At the first impact, the light, fragile soap bubbles explode, releasing their thick cloud.

Under the lights, the bubbles multiply, shadows and foamy spectrums intertwining, time seems suspended.

A graceful moment in a world where everything is usually a rush. A Quiet Storm blurs our bearings and activates our perceptions, engaging our senses to evoke a feeling of wonder.

Sixteen monitors, initially black and silent, slowly crack from within. They do not crack, they transform. Cracks open like luminous wounds on the electronic skin of the screens, generating unpredictable, unique, unrepeatable digital landscapes.
Guiding the metamorphosis is not a human gesture, but perhaps a cosmic whisper. Remote signals from deep space, intercepted by the European Gravitational Observatory, are translated into light, sound, rhythm.

“Fragile” is a symphony of rupture, a chaotic dance where collapse becomes creation, and fragility is revealed for what it is: a form of power.

📌We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition opening on Wednesday 28 May at 6.30 p.m.
