‘An award given to films that celebrate the endurance of the human spirit and resilience in the face of injustice! - Flicker’s Rhode Island International Film Festival

Sara, a six-year-old Iranian refugee, sneaks out with her sister to explore their new London estate, but strange encounters blur the line between reality and imagination in a world shaped by loss.

We discuss the inspiration for the script, casting young stars and their stellar performances, and symbolism throughout the film. The Orange scene! Rehearsals, the fluidity of the three day shoot, the wonderful crew, the festival and awards showcase in LA, and what is next for both the film and for Alex. Most importantly we discuss the heart of the story a family trying to rebuild their lives with unimaginable grief.

The interviews include clips from the film and BTS.
We’ve condensed the interview to 14 minutes but the full 35 minute interview will be available on our Vimeo channel soon.
