Quoris3D Top Tip 👉 Getting Your Dual Scan Right First Time🤌 Two issues we regularly see with dual-scan submissions are incomplete relining and movement of the scanning appliance during the scan. 1⃣ Incomplete relining The denture has only been partially relined, creating large air gaps and preventing it from being fully seated against the soft tissue. 2⃣ Movement during scanning The scanning appliance has been captured in an open-bite position and has dropped away from the soft tissue, resulting in inaccurate scan data. In both situations, the data is compromised and planning cannot progress. Before scanning, ensure the denture is fully relined, completely seated against the soft tissue and maintained in the correct position throughout the scan.
