🧶 Our monthly stitch club meets on the last Thursday of the month, whether you’ve never picked up a ball of wool before or are a seasoned whizz with a loom - all levels and abilities are welcome and material are provided.
🌻 Come down and learn to crochet from our lovely Bethan or bring your own project you’re working on! It’s all about coming down, learning, sharing, teaching and having fun!

Where punters become poets once again,
On the third Thursday each month,
Words sparkle and splutter and thump,
And rhymes come easier with beer in the brain.

📝 POETRY AT REASONS! Our lovely regulars have organised a regular night of rhyme and verse - if you enjoy listening to or reading poetry come and stick your head in.

😌 No requirements for turning up, anyone is more than welcome to come and just listen

PSA 📣📣📣

This Saturday we’re doing a little bit of fundraising at Reasons for the brilliant Jo ❤️

One of our lovely regulars, Jo has recently had the all clear from breast cancer and has just completed an amazing Race Across Europe fundraiser for @preventbreastcancer

They’ve already done a pretty incredible job, so we thought we’d help them give the fundraising total one last push 🍻

This week we'll have a donation pot and QR code in the bar for anyone who fancies chucking a few quid in, and on Saturday we’ll also be donating the takings from our house beer Local Beer from @blackjackbrewco.

So basically, come down, have a pint, raise some money for a brilliant cause and help us celebrate Jo at the same time.

@nightingalecider nightingalecider are the absolute dons of cider making in the UK right now.

We’ve got their house cider on the hand pulls right now and I am telling you this gear is what you want to spend your afternoon drinking.
Bright, vibrant, medium dry, still and stinky in all the best ways. I’m currently stood here behind the bar and I’m not joking, every single person in the room is drinking it.

Now then, many of you will remember our friend, regular, super wine taster and sometimes barman, the wonderful Liam Bergin, and will know his son Joe who often works behind the bar at Reasons and is a credit to his dad.

Yesterday @joebergin_ completed the 268 mile Pennine Way in memory of Liam and his brother Lewi. Raising money for two incredibly important charities, @brain_tumour_research and @mindcharity

Joe we are so proud of you mate and we love you so much!

Please do donate any small amount you can he has nearly made it to £10k!

Things are about to get funky on the A6!

@stationhoplvm will be pouring 3 rare and aged kegs from their cellar of the inimitable zymologists @millsbrewing alongside their regular brilliant variety on tap

@r2bcbeercafe have taken a deep dive into their cellar for some OLD (we’re talking 10+ years) of cellar aged, rare lambic and wild ferment bottles (expect Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Tilquin etc as well as American and UK wild breweries) and a selection of low intervention wines and ciders - which they will be pouring from a pop up bar in Station Hops incredible beer garden
