Every year, our Harvest Farm Walk is our way of saying thank you to the donors, supporters, friends and family who help us teach, empower and inspire healthy eating.

This year was extra special thanks to the Texas Chef Association, who created a beautiful and delicious menu of hors d’oeuvres. Thank you for helping make this evening one to remember! 💚

🌱 Good things grow when communities come together!

This week, Plant It Forward joined @rollacshutters for a wonderful gathering of Houston nonprofits, sharing our missions and exploring opportunities to collaborate.

A huge thank you to Nina, Jessica, and the Rollac team for building a company culture rooted in service, volunteerism, and giving back!

💚 We especially enjoyed connecting with @thecachouston @r4sfoundation @childrenatrisk whose work intersects with ours around important themes:

🌱 Food. Nutrition. Children. Families. Opportunity.

Access to fresh, nutritious food helps build healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures for Houston’s children.

We were also inspired by Rollac’s story as a multigenerational family business with immigrant roots—a journey that resonates deeply with our immigrant and refugee farmers.

Great partnerships often start with a simple conversation. 💚

Last month, Chef Adam Paul @chefadamp78 of Jackson & Company @jacksonandcompanycatering joined us at Hope Farms as our Chef in Residence for First Saturday!

From our Seed-to-Plate kids classes to our adult cooking class, Chef Adam showed participants how to make fresh spring rolls, explored their origins, and proved just how fun and delicious healthy eating can be!

Thank you, Chef Adam, for sharing your time, talent, and passion for good food with our community. You’re helping us inspire healthier habits, one delicious bite at a time!

Meet an Alchemist: Adam Paul @chefadamp78 | Jackson & Co. @jacksonandcompanycatering
Adam Paul knows his way around Delicious Alchemy.
Last year, he helped send out a juniper-roasted buffalo tenderloin with Petite Syrah and huckleberries, Hubbard squash brûlée and hazelnut-crusted braised leeks.
This year, he’s back.
And we can’t wait to see what happens next.

Before the chefs can make magic, somebody has to stock the kitchen.
Ten chefs. Ten courses. One hundred guests.
That takes a rather extraordinary pantry.
We are grateful to Sysco @syscofoodie for providing the ingredients our Delicious Alchemy brigade will transform into ten exquisite courses on November 16.
They bring the ingredients.
Our chefs bring the imagination.
And then the alchemy begins.
