Well, it’s time to officially share

After an unfortunate landing, it was confirmed I have torn my acl, and partially my mcl and meniscus.

Volleyball coming to an end overnight (for now) has rocked my world a bit. I love this sport and I love competing. BUT I know it’s temporary.

I am already in the gym working on core and upper body and prehabbing while my mcl heals naturally. Surgery will be in about 4 weeks and then it’s time to get to work! I am determined to come back stronger than ever 💪🏼 I will learn from the bench and perfect every skill I am able to work on in the meantime.

I have to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to all my friends and family who’ve been checking in, sending treats, and encouraging me through the beginning of this. Yall have truly made this so much easier to handle, and I don’t take that for granted. I have seen God show up in this too and I know He’s got my back and will use this.

This is just a bump in the road. I’ll be back — stronger, healthier, and more passionate about this game than ever before. Thank you for riding this out with me….get ready for the comeback!

It may not be country as we know it but it is the country side, the sea side and a slow down of life. We had the sweetest time in England this summer as all four of us were able to travel and spend time together in our home away from home. We drank tea, told stories, explored and celebrated. Time with my sweet grandparents is so special and I cherish every second these days. It’s hard being so far away from family and loved ones but I am so grateful to God for giving us the opportunity to be together again. Today was a special day! My sweet Mey came to us a few months ago saying she had asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior. She was in her room alone and felt the Holy Spirit stir her heart. She is inquisitive and insightful and I know the Lord has spoken wisdom into her. It makes sense she came to this decision in a quiet moment by herself, just her and the Lord as I’m sure she was analyzing the moments of her day and young life already. We are so thankful the Lord has revealed Himself to her and she has answered the call. Since that moment she has been asking to be baptized and she wanted Pop Pop to do it. Tears were shed, praises were shouted and her favorite song just happened to be on the choir playlist today (Goodness of God)! We love you Mey and so proud of the young lady you are becoming! Thank you Lord for this beautiful baby girl and thank you to all of the friends and family that cheered and supported her. We are so grateful for the village that will continue to grow her in Christ!

We’re going to the ‘ship! So proud of these girls going 7-0 to secure their spot in the National division at USAV nationals. Charli had been battling a knee injury for a few weeks and it was great to see her back out there with more of her usual spring in her step! Excited to see these girls finish strong…they’re peaking at just the right time! by @raafi519

A glimpse of our Vail getaway with ALL my babies! It’s rare we are all together these days as life speeds up and takes us in so many directions. But we came, we ski’d, we rafted, we ate, we shopped, we seesawed 🤪 and even crashed a John Summit concert! Charli held it down behind the camera while we ski’d since volleyball is life. We took a guided raft down the Colorado River and had a freezing cold swim. Our booked ‘sleigh ride’ ended up just being a trail ride because of the record setting lack of snow but it was still a good time! The temps alone were an adventure from 85 when we landed to 35 at night. We tasted the famous Four Seasons hot chocolate and wandered the beautiful Vail Village. It was quality time with great convos and laughs. I love my crew so much and grateful for every moment we get together! taken in Vail, Colorado by @raafi519

I got a new sister! Last weekend my brother made it official and tied the knot! 💍 We are so grateful to add Aria to our family. She is a total gift from God and I love seeing my little bro so happy.
