Protium 23L Day Pack
Neutrino Pro Down Jacket
Namche GORE-TEX Pants by @rab.equipment

From his early days chasing powder in Colorado in his youth to his present-day rituals in wild, hidden snowfields, Doug has found meaning, peace, and purpose through skiing.

Continuum explores the quiet power of devotion and the deep, personal connection that can be forged through movement in the mountains. It’s a love letter to the wilderness, and how one man’s ritual becomes a rhythm for life.

Life can be hectic. We’re always under constant pressure to compete, to see the next place and to please others expectations.

Last winter @will.barron and myself decided to slow it all down. No competitions, no travel and no external pressure. All in an attempt to squeeze the most out of our experience working in the alps.

Out of this came our film Standstill.
It features myself and the friends we met along the way. It was filmed, edited, coloured, sound designed and directed by Will.

Massive thanks to Rab who made this film possible.

Standstill will available online in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy it.

One jacket, a hundred different adventures ✨ Climbing, drytooling, flying, hiking, or just drinking coffee. My Microlight doesn’t really care what the plan is.

Why do I like my Microlight?
It’s always up for another questionable adventure.
#mymicrolight by @rab.equipment

Introducing the Microlight Shield, where Pertex® Shield waterproofing meets 700FP down.

The Microlight Shield pairs a 2-layer waterproof outer with strategically placed baffles, so you get warmth where it counts and less bulk under the arms.

Durable, repairable construction built for wet, cold mountain days.

“When I’m wearing gear that has had multiple lives before it, I feel like I get to carry those stories.”

From the start, the Microlight was designed to be used hard, repaired when needed, and relied on season after season. That long-term mindset has shaped every evolution of the jacket since.

For AW26 alone, enough reclaimed nets were woven into Microlights to account for over 22 tonnes of discarded fishing gear. That’s 22 tonnes that could have ended up in the ocean, but instead have found their way into our most-loved down jacket. But it’s not just about finding another home for unwanted materials – these strong, lightweight plastics also have valuable performance benefits that enhance outdoor gear. Once woven into a Microlight, they can continue to do what they do best. As Emilio puts it, “Nets are our tool as fishermen. Just as jackets are tools for a life of adventure.”

The Jub Jub Bird is a classic E6 that’s been in my head for a decade – the thought of traversing the steep underside of the big hanging fin to find that exposed position on the arête just wouldn’t go away.

You climb a vertical pillar, throw as much gear in the back of it as you can, and then make the crux runout to the hanging arête. I had to retreat back to the pillar several times until I committed to a fiendish move I couldn’t reverse.

It’s a brilliant position on that arête, with your forearms swelling and the sun going golden as it lowers into the sea behind you. I plugged one cam in and lay backed up the fin to the safety of a birds-nest ledge. What a climb.

For us at Rab, being able to trace our fabrics all the way back to fishermen like Emilio is a key part of why we choose NetPlus®. It’s good to know what your gear is made of – the lives it’s had before it reached you, the people who helped create it, the journey it has made from the depths of the ocean to remote peaks, where it continues its story in your hands.
