POSTS STORIES REELS

If you’ve ever bought a planner in January and given up on it by February, then this could be the one that breaks that habit.

It has every animal-related awareness day and 12 coaching exercises for the challenges pet business owners face, all in one place.

If you’ve already ordered one, the first lot went in the post on Saturday morning, so it should be dropping on your doormat very soon!

Inside you’ll find:

Coaching exercises for the mindset side from prioritising to being brave and working out what makes you happy
Quarterly planning pages and a monthly focus
Goal setting, content ideas and all the key animal awareness days, for those days you sit down to plan your posts and end up staring at a blank page
A diary with your to-do list, a habit tracker and a rate my week
A paws and reflect page at the end of every month

You don’t have to use every page. Use the bits that work for you.

Even if you never buy a planner from me, try this at the end of each month. Look back at what worked, what you want to keep doing and what you’re ready to stop.

It takes ten minutes and it’s one of the most useful things you can do for your business and will make you feel GOOD!

I’ve put in everything that’s helped my clients and helped me too, in the hope it’ll help you as well.

If you’re looking for a planner for 2027, it would mean so much if you’d support my small business and buy a copy - it’s just £30 plus P&P and the link is in my bio/stories/comments.

And if you’ve already got yours, thank you so much. Let me know what you think when it lands.

The planners are on the way!

Thank you so much to everyone who has ordered already.

Here’s a bit of behind the scenes and a ‘no room at the inn’ moment at the first post office.

If you’d like a copy, head to my website or send me a message.

I asked my Planner Club members these three questions on our November planning call last week.

What’s the one thing you want done by the end of November? Pick the one you want most, not the whole list.

How do you want to feel when you finish for Christmas? Like you’ve just run a marathon, or calm?

What needs to be in place so you can feel that way?

The answers ranged from finishing the first draft of a novel to getting email and social media scheduled before December, can you imagine how good that would be!

If you’d like to do the same, come and join my online planning day a week today, Monday 9 November, from 10am to 4pm.

You’ll leave with 2027 planned and your January content sorted.

Tickets are £100. That includes the replays and a copy of my 2027 Pet Business Content Planner.

If you’re in The Planner Club, it’s included in your membership. Message me the word DAY if you want the details. by @rachelspenceruk

Not sure whether to come to my online planning day on Monday 9th November? Here are the questions I get asked the most.

“I can’t take a Monday off.” It’s one day of protected time to work on your business, so the ideas spinning around your head turn into plans you make happen.

“I’ve bought planners and never used them.” Me too! On the day you’ll have your planner in your hand and fill it in with me, so your planning gets done in real time.

“I’m already in The Planner Club.” Then it’s included. You should already have your invitation, and if not, send me a message.

“I’ll just watch the replay.” The replays are there if you need them, but being there live gives you the energy of the room, ideas from everyone else and that buzz you can’t get from a recording.

“I don’t know what I’d post anyway.” That’s the whole point of the day. You’ll leave with lots of ideas, and the structure to get them onto your newsletter, Instagram and website.

Tickets are £100 with the replays and my 2027 Pet Business Content Planner, or the day is included in The Planner Club. Book by 4th November if you’re in the UK to get your planner in time.

Send me a message with DAY if you’d like the details on how to join us.

Such a pinch me moment this week at the launch of Niki French’s Stop Walking Your Dog Volume 2.

Niki has worked so hard on this for three years and it is testament to what a brilliant person she is and how much she cares for the dogs and their humans that she had such a turnout.

And it was also a bit of a moment where you look around and feel very thankful to be a part of it and to have such lovely people in your world.

Thanks Niki for a fabulous night and congratulations on book number two.

Jules wrote a book, Kerry went into the year feeling calm instead of chaotic and Sarah got her business themes sorted for the whole year.

These are some of the things that came out of last year’s online planning day.

If this sounds good, next year’s day is on Monday 9th November where you can get your ducks in a row for 2027.

How ready do you feel for 2027, on a scale of 1-10? Let us know in the comments.

At the start of last year's online planning day, most people said around 5. By the end of the day, nearly everyone said 8 or 9.

This year's day is on Monday 9th November, 10am to 4pm on Zoom and if you swipe through, you can see what to expect, and the full run-down is on my blog.

If you fancy coming along, you can join The Planner Club and the day's included, or get a £100 ticket and a copy of the 2027 Pet Business Content Planner.

Last week I was totally frazzled to the point I wrote a list of “Why is my head up my bum?”

It was to get everything out of my head, and I’ve put a pic of my journal (£4 from The Works) and my notes in this post.

I think a lot of us put off journalling because we believe there’s a right way to do it, with a special notebook, a set of prompts to follow and something we do as part of a strict routine.

But journalling can be whatever you want it to be. Sometimes it’s getting whatever is making you feel like your head is up your bum onto a piece of paper.

The last few weeks have been stressful. My boiler is knackered and I’ve hot water for nearly two week after being messed around by a plumber so have been having to boil kettles and pans of water to shower like Tesco Value Myleene Klass or go round the corner to my friend Tracy’s.

My mum has been going through something similar with a job that hasn’t been finished and someone who won’t come back to sort it.

My planners have also arrived, which always comes with a bit of stress because I worry something will be wrong with them (there isn’t thank god!).

I’m in the middle of organising my planning day, and that has taken up a lot of headspace.

The page has headings for what I’m grateful for, today’s goal and a daily review, which to be fair I usually fill in but I ignored them.

Underneath “Why is my head up my bum?” I wrote lots going on, tired, stressed about the boiler and the house, stressed about Mum, and trying to do too many things.

Then “What can I do?” Slow down, do the things that are important and make a difference, less phone time, an early night, have a nice day out tomorrow and stop eating sugar before bed.

It got everything out of my head and gave me a few small things I could do about it. That night I had the best sleep I’ve had in weeks.

Save this for next time your head is up your bum, because getting down the reasons why and what you can do about it definitely helps. by @rachelspenceruk

If you’re feeling like a broken record this is for you.

Last week I did a coworking day with Kate @finbo_studio and we were talking about saying the same thing over and over again.

It came up as I’m running my Online Planning Day on November 9th so two weeks away and I’m going to be talking about it a lot. So I said to Kate: “is it ok?”

I mean it’s got to be on because I’m doing it anyway but we all have these wobbles don’t we?

Anyway, these were our thoughts and if you’d like to work out the messages you’re going to keep repeating for 2027 and you want to join us, give us a shout and I’ll send the link to save your space. by @rachelspenceruk
