🔮 I like weird shit. I believe this presidential administration is a joke. Fuck ICE. Free Palestine, the Congo, and everywhere else where people aren't being treated like human beings. Love is love. I'll call you by whatever pronouns and name makes your soul shine. The 40 hour work week is nervous system torture and it prevents humans from fulfilling their deepest purpose: to create art and love each other.

While we're at it, land back to indigenous people, new age spirituality is white washed cultural appropriation, and Black folk literally built every piece of this country to where it is today. And FUCK generative AI. Hire real artists. Full stop.

If you're still reading thanks for being here. 💜

✨ Custom Gray Blending MAGIC 🪄 Sometimes clients want juuust enough length that they'll be able to pull their dreadlocks back. They don't need to be down to their butt to be beautiful! This was an amazing challenge and I had so much fun creating this head of locks. I would love the opportunity to do more sets like this! 👑

🤔 Is it too niche to post memes describing what it's been like about coming back to work at home for myself as a dreadlock artist, amateur folklorist, folk artist, and occult author after an ill-fated attempt to rejoin the "real" world of employment???

Ah well. I'm doing it anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Note: None of my clients attempt small talk with me. You're all cool and on the level with my deep, feral, unfiltered conversational skills. 🤙🏻💜

The magic hands are ready. May my booked schedule rise to meet them. 🙏🏻🪄 I had a lot of fun putting together these little promo kits. This might honestly be the most money I've ever invested into a marketing campaign for my business. In it's history, I have been able to rely on free promotional methods -- social media, Craigslist (really showing my age there 😬), but hard times call for hard measures!

If your shop received one of these in the mail, drop a 💜 or a note 💌 below to say hello!

(Also thanks to @dread_fox_ who helped me fully realize this idea! Check her tattoo shop out @foxdentattooct in Wallingford, CT!)

💥 September opened up with a BANG! I have been booked solid with clients vying for my signature tidy crochet dreadlock work -- folks who heard and answered the call when I needed proof that I could quit my unhealthy work environment. I am SO grateful you've kept me so booked and busy this month. 🙏🏻

💜 But this is just the beginning -- if I'm going to stick around I need to get this scheduled filled UP! I have a ton of openings after the second week of October. If you're thinking of booking before Halloween to look cute in your costume or before Thanksgiving to look fresh for the fam the time to book is NOW! 🎃🦃
