THERE WILL NEVER BE A GREATER IDEA THAN OURS

Yesterday I stumbled upon a new word: “kindred spirits” – those who share the same opinions, feelings, and interests as you, and immediately two very important people popped up in my mind. This message is dedicated to Duc and Phu, my companions.

As you once said, Duc, “We have memories yet to discover” - and how true that is! Our youth stretches before us, full of untold adventures. Yes, we will be “careless creatures”, destined to freely roam the world. I look forward to the journeys we will embark on in the future: the moments, the shared time, the deep conversations and debates. Being a part of this voyage with you both is an honour beyond words.

We are interconnected by many shared passions. Never in my life before had I thought I would ever find such like-minded people, and I am deeply grateful for that. The essence of art, of music, of poetry flows in our veins. “We will be great souls”, yes, we absolutely will!

Though we now stand on opposite sides of the globe, separated by thousands of kilometers, just know that while we might be feeling lonely at times, or that we might feel overwhelmed by the mounting pressure that our busy yet different lives may throw at us, we will always be there to support each other. Our friendship is unshakable, our spirits remain strong, and our mutual trust will remain forever intact.

I deeply miss you guys. No physical distance shall suppress the idea of us, we will stay close, stay connected, stay united. Forever, we will be the trio that day, high above the mountains of Lo Lo Chai.

Như một giấc ban chiều
lạc vào cõi hư vô, thẩn thức trên cánh diều
em chờ tôi ở cõi không thực
cuộn vào mây với gió, trong ánh vàng liêu xiêu
ta nằm chung đệm cỏ
hòa mình, tan chảy dưới cực độ vô hình
giữa ngân hà mênh mông
tôi nhẩm chuyện sầu, kể em những câu tình
những nỗi niềm còn ở nơi đây, đâu đó
nồng say trong hơi thở cuối trời
chằm chằm qua kẽ nứt của thực tại
tôi vươn mình, khẽ níu lấy ánh mắt hão huyền
thế gian đâu đây, vẫn là nỗi yên bình
thăm thẳm trong vô tận, liệu có còn là ảo giác
tiếng chuồng hồi kết
rồi cuộc tình bay trong gió, cuốn theo giấc mộng dài
rồi em lại thẩn thơ, bỏ quên trong vô thức
rồi lại nhìn trần nhà, nhốt mình trong bức tường

To find peace in your own suffering

Why do we always wait for the “life changing moment”, when every decision we make is a factor that decides all life. We are doomed by the present, a prisoner of time, we can not change the past or the future, but there is always a possibility that something big will happen. When a decision is considered, trillions of possibilities exist, simultaneously, waiting to be called up. Should we now say: “perhaps this is my life changing moment, and it will always be”.

What is “in the moment”? Why do we always feel this utter sensation of true happiness when we stay “in the moment”. When we look back at old photos, or just think about scenarios of a promised future, we get locked in that specific time, and yet it feels so… warm and loving. In that instant, my body falls deep into the realm of the unreal, switches from the past to the future, transcends past the 3 dimensions, and becomes a living entity of “the moment”. I was “the moment”. by @radioactiveheads
