We3 (our lil trio burgeoning band) had a beautiful time playing at the Love Our Neighbor’s Valentine’s Fundraiser ♥️ Together our community came together to raise over $3000 for the Deportation Defense Coalition @ddc_oregon, uplifting families directly impacted by 🧊

My dear friend @iamdandi performed some of his original songs 🩵 and the Wild Rose Resistance Choir @ceasefirechoir taught & sang some powerful songs, including the classic Woody Guthrie, “All You Fascists Bound to Lose” and some powerful songs coming out of Minneapolis from @singingresistance & @schlannerz including “We Belong to Each Other” & “It’s Okay to Change Your Mind”, a song encouraging 🧊 agents that they can have a change of heart and join the right side of history at any time.

Thank you @zambonirose2019 for all the hard work & love you poured into this event. It was truly beautiful ♥️♥️♥️❤️‍🔥🧊 taken in Lenora's Ballroom by @raeoflightsings

🍇💜 gorgeous grapes & their journey to becoming juice! 💜🍇 I’ve been making beautiful grape juice, apple cider, and more from a variety of fruit from community vines and gleaned from neighborhood trees.

Fruit of the vine, of the tree, and baked goods made from them for Rosh Hashanah, to raise funds for three important causes in need of support 🍎🍯 All proceeds split equally between communities in North Carolina & Georgia that have been impacted by severe flooding after Hurricane Helene, mutual aid projects in Leban0n, and families in G@Z@ 💓

I wake up & think of G@z@. I walk in the rain & think of G@z@. I smell the spring flowers & think of G@z@. I make my coffee & think of G@z@. I call my mother & think of G@z@. I go grocery shopping & think of G@z@. My heart aches & I think of G@z@.

Children have had to have limbs amputated without anesthesia. Women are giving birth in unimaginable conditions without pain meds. A temporary ceasefire is not enough — we need a permanent ceasefire now. Don’t stop talking about P@lestine. Collective liberation now!

Everywhere is P@lestine, and we are all P@lestinians. “Until we are all free, we are none of us are free” ~ Sephardic Jewish activist & writer Emma Lazarus

Please give to the fundraiser on this post for Medical Aid for P@lestinians if you’re able.
