🇬🇧 A selection of photos from the magical Medieval Fair of Marialva.

Watching people live in the moment, creating art with such passion, felt like a blessing. Perhaps we can reach such bliss by first allowing ourselves to be inspired by others.

As I was walking past the Capela das Almas on the busy street of Santa Catarina, I noticed the presence of an elegant woman, moving with the aura of a Vogue fashion model.

Her catwalk-like stride transformed the crowd-filled street into a stage, capturing the gaze of everyone who passed.

What a strange, calm and soothing feeling it is to find everything you were looking for, hidden inside those quiet and melancholic moments.

Even in the greyest of cities, we can find a splash of colour.

And who is the madman?
The one who follows every rule just because it is there,
or the one who simply refuses to fit into standards he never chose?
