Candidate for Melbourne (Liberal Party) | City of Melbourne Councillor | VIC, Australia 🇦🇺 🇧🇷

North Melbourne turned blue today 💙😉 and what a beautiful day it was for the Queensberry Cup! @queensberrycup

The weather was absolutely perfect, the community turnout was wonderful, and the atmosphere along Errol Street was full of colour, laughter, cheering, and local pride. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and especially to our marvellous local volunteers your energy, generosity and hard work made this event such a success.

The Queensberry Cup is more than a billycart race. It is a celebration of North Melbourne: our creativity, our diversity, our businesses, our families, and the strong community spirit that makes this neighbourhood so special.

It was also a timely reminder of the importance of our neighbourhood house. This year’s Cup marked 50 years of the North & West Melbourne Neighbourhood Centre — a place that brings people together, supports local residents, builds connections, and helps our community thrive. Events like this show exactly why neighbourhood houses matter: they create belonging, opportunity, and shared joy.

I even received some love from Virginia Trioli thank you! @latrioli

And we were treated to a beautiful presentation of Forró from Brazil from @lovetoforro.melbourne North Melbourne was Brazilian too! 💙🇧🇷

And what a surprise at the end of the day visiting Sokol Melbourne Inc. / Czech House was a wonderful way to finish such a special community celebration. 💙

📍 Queensberry Cup — Corner of Errol Street and Queensberry Street, North Melbourne VIC 3051.
Thank you, North Melbourne. What a beautiful day. 💙😉

Please come and join us at the Italian Festa in Carlton this weekend!

It’s a fantastic celebration of Italian culture, food, music and community, and a great opportunity to catch up with neighbours, friends and local traders.
When: Saturday 17 October, 11am to 10.30pm, and Sunday 18 October, 11am to 8.30pm
Where: Royal Exhibition Building and Grounds, 9 Nicholson Street, Carlton
Entry: Free, no booking required
I’ll be there with Jess Wilson, Victoria’s Opposition Leader, and we’d love to see you.

Jess was travelling across Victoria on her Fresh Start Tour, listening directly to families, small businesses and local communities about what matters most to them. Her message is simple: after years of rising costs, growing debt and pressure on essential services, Victoria needs a fresh start, with a government that listens, delivers and puts people first.
Jess and the Liberal Nationals team have a positive plan to reduce crime, ease cost of living pressures, support local businesses, fix our roads and restore confidence in Victoria’s future.

Most importantly, Jess wants to hear from you. Come along, say hello, and share your views on the issues affecting our community, from safety and housing to local services and the future of our neighbourhood.

Being of Italian heritage, the Festa reconnects me with my roots, my family’s story, and the traditions that shaped me. So join me for this Festa 🎊 !!!!
@melbourneitalianfesta

Hope to see you at the Festa! 🇮🇹

Melbourne must never normalise crime.

Knife crime, assault, robbery and home invasions should never become part of everyday life in our city.

Every Melburnian deserves to feel safe—in their home, on public transport, in our shopping strips and in our public spaces.

We must not look the other way. We need stronger leadership, practical action and a clear message: crime will not be tolerated in Melbourne.

Ps. This knife 🔪 was found in the surrounds of the State Library and has now been handed to Victoria Police 👮.

It is time for a fresh start.

Vote Rafael Camillo for Melbourne.

Victorian tradies are paying thousands of dollars a year just to get to work.

A Liberal Government will cap road tolls at $50 a week, helping tradies keep more of their hard earned money.

That's real cost of living relief for the people building Victoria. by @rafaforlocals

What an inspiring start to the day!!!

They don’t do Everyday but most of the days 😉.

I joined the Morning Cleanup team and Lingos Global outside the State Library this morning, and I was genuinely impressed by the passion and determination of these students. They gave up part of their morning to help keep our CBD clean. No fuss, no fanfare, just a real commitment to the city they love.

Their energy is contagious. It reminds me that a cleaner, safer, more welcoming Melbourne is built by people who care enough to show up.
I’m incredibly proud of them, and they motivate me to do even more for our city.

Thank you to everyone involved. You make Melbourne better.

Hiring and training the next generation of tradies shouldn’t be out of reach for small businesses.

Victoria is facing a skills shortage, and our businesses need more qualified workers.

We're backing local employers to take on more apprentices, giving young Victorians the opportunity to learn a trade, earn a qualification and build a rewarding career.

Ciao, ciao Carlton!!!!

Beautiful spring day at Piazza Italia, Argyle Square, Carlton.
I’ve been speaking with local residents about the issues that matter most: the cost of living, high taxes, crime, and the need for real change. People are ready for a fresh start.

Carlton’s history, community spirit, and Italian heritage make it one of Melbourne’s most special suburbs.
Don’t miss the Italian Festa & Expo. The Festa runs on Saturday 17 October from 11am to 10.30pm and Sunday 18 October from 11am to 8.30pm at the Royal Exhibition Building and Grounds, 9 Nicholson Street, Carlton. Free entry, and I’ll see you there.

Our Plan backs tradies.

10 new Tech Colleges. 5,000 students. Real pathways from school into a trade.

Our team will train the next generation sooner, so Victoria can build the homes it needs.

That’s Our Plan.
