# 59 - Let Go | Avril Lavigne

🍁11 year old me was so confused that she was complaining about the cold as a Canadian! Who else wore ties as the ultimate fashion statement in the early 2000s? 🙋🏾‍♂️. Hope I did this album justice, like I said, it doesn’t get any more iconic than the original!

💿 P.S. Losing Grip is one of my all time fave album openers.

# 60 - The Dutchess | Fergie

# 61 - PCD | The Pussycat Dolls

👠 Digitals of my PCD Redesign concept, inspired by The Saturdays, Girlicious and Little Mix! Colour blocking and simplicity all the way. I always loved the subtle pops of colour on the original in all the text so I pulled the backgrounds directly from there.

# 62 - Loose | Nelly Furtado

🌶️ This year marks 20 Years since Loose! Let’s celebrate Nelly Furtado entering the Canadian Music Hall of Fame with a redesign of her iconic album!

This was one of 4 albums that ruled my life in Grade 9! You could imagine how excited I was a couple years ago when the vinyl was officially released. This one is for all the Canadian Baddies making music that moves you.

# 63 - We Still Move on Dance Floors | The Strumbellas

🪩 Can’t beat the original, but I can sure try a different take on the same concept. It’s been 3 years since my last post in this series and honestly I got stuck on an idea for this one!

The Strumbellas album art always has beautiful illustrations, so how do you reimagine something already SO good?

I first heard of the Strumbellas from my bestie in 2013, her cousin is in the band and she recommended them to me when I was looking to use an iTunes gift card on something fun! I’ve been a fan ever since. Also remember when Apple would give you a gift card for buying a laptop? Do they still do that?!

#64 - Queen of the Clouds | Tove Lo

👑- Really starting to get into my pop era with these. I also can’t believe that it’s almost been 10 years since I saw Tove Lo in concert😱 this album ate me up in 2014.

My intent for this design was to just elevate it just enough so that there’s less mystery. Lyrically a lot of these tracks feel like they are love songs veiled in an alt/pop/dance exterior. So I wanted to visually balance that out the themes of the record a little more.
