I had a wonderful time at @tad.playgrounds in Eindhoven last month. I listened to so many great artists and animators give talks about their work and careers like Tim Allen, Karla Ortiz, Iris Compiet and Rob Bliss. I even had portfolio reviews with Ian MacKinnon from McKinnon and Saunders and stop-motion animator Anna Mantzaris! I spent years of high school on DeviantArt so meeting Loish was kind of a dream 🥹

I got to visit the Center for Puppetry Arts Museum!

They had a small exhibition on stop-motion with the two lead puppets from Corpse Bride. It was inspiring to see the artistry up close! I had a great time learning about the history of puppetry across the world in the Global Gallery and walking through the Jim Henson Gallery learning more about the man behind the Muppets. 🥹
