I recently had the very fun opportunity to make some miniature props for a Bob the Builder green energy commercial👷‍♂️☀️

Most notably, I had to hack away on a toy van to transform it into a custom van in the classic bob the builder style👀

Thank you @cinozolfanelli for taking me on board for this project and to the crew who nailed every single detail. Bob and Obama said it best! YES WE CAN! #bobthebuilder #stopmotion #modelmaking

Just happened to bump into this lot @odeonlsq for their official @nftsmodelmaking graduation ceremony ( 2024/25 cohort) You were incredible…. You’ve all been working for 8 months. Great to celebrate with you and your family today. I miss you. Thank you for getting me over the line last year - I will always be grateful. You made some impressive stuff… Onwards

Hard to believe it’s been a whole year since we built the Tantive IV corridor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story! Thought I’d share a behind-the-scenes at how it all came together…

Starting with a white card maquette, to digitally modeling the corridor in Rhino, to full-scale technical drawings… finally, the construction began.

The build involved vac forming, laser cutting, routing, 3D printing, moulding, casting, resin curing, technical lighting, and of course the painting and finishing (a lot harder than it looked😅).

Brought to life by 12 NFTS model makers + the guidance of our incredible HOD @jlee.rockyroad 🙏

Myself and 11 other model makers spent 26 days building a 1:5 scale miniature set of the Tantive IV corridor from “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. This was a joint project between @nftsmodelmaking and @nftsvfx

Swipe to see our model compared to the original film and check the last slide for scale!

Huge thanks to our HOD @jlee.rockyroad who helped us bring it to life… couldn’t have done it without you 👽💫
