Words cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was to attend EFNW as a Community Guest. I got to meet many of the artists who inspired me to pursue animation, present a panel about our animated show, and spend lots of time with my amazing team. It was my first big convention, so I am incredibly grateful for the kindness of EFNW staff. They helped me set up everything for my panel, made sure my team was able to meet Lauren, and helped accommodate every odd request I had… even after I accidentally printed 20 copies of a name tag on their computer. At the Meet & Greet, I spoke to a lot of awesome people who had questions about my show, Galactic Defense Force. I also spent some time speaking to Saberspark about indie animation, hung out backstage with Bluebell during Opening Ceremonies, and let Andy Price pick my brain while they were packing up the vendor hall. I don’t think I could have possibly asked for a more perfect weekend. Hoping to save his home planet, Sage is in search of the Galactic Defense Force. After a fruitless search, he finds himself at the Starlite Cantina, where he witnesses someone steal precious jewels from a performer. He tries to thwart the criminal, but things get messy when his efforts are interrupted by the cantina owner and pair of a bounty hunters.
