POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve been chomping at the bit to post something self indulgent before we get down to the wire on the pilot next month, so here’s some more turtles!

If you’re interested in reading more about this little guy, check out my previous post about MT! He’s my pitch for a Rise version of Metalhead, one of my favorite TMNT characters, and I’ve got a huge infodump about the concept over on Tumblr. Enjoy! 🤖💛

I really gotta post more of the fandom content I’ve been hoarding, it’s always lots of fun…

I remember when I first heard the audio these two popped into my head, but I really didn’t wanna make it cause I’m lazy. But I made it anyway!!! It’s not the best, but I had fun throwing something together!!

Words cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was to attend EFNW as a Community Guest. I got to meet many of the artists who inspired me to pursue animation, present a panel about our animated show, and spend lots of time with my amazing team.

It was my first big convention, so I am incredibly grateful for the kindness of EFNW staff. They helped me set up everything for my panel, made sure my team was able to meet Lauren, and helped accommodate every odd request I had… even after I accidentally printed 20 copies of a name tag on their computer.

At the Meet & Greet, I spoke to a lot of awesome people who had questions about my show, Galactic Defense Force. I also spent some time speaking to Saberspark about indie animation, hung out backstage with Bluebell during Opening Ceremonies, and let Andy Price pick my brain while they were packing up the vendor hall. I don’t think I could have possibly asked for a more perfect weekend.

Thank you for having me! 💚💚💚

Hey look at that another Lsmp post in the big 2026 on this specific day for no apparent reason lol (happy birthday Rainbott :] )
|
Most of the stuff here was just sketches of some of my own designs for the characters (EXECPT FOR THE FIRST AND LAST IMAGES THAT DESIGN WAS MADE BY @trash_r0dent ) (I liked their design very much and it's so cool)
|
Also ig I should mention my own Loop design / interpretation that ive made, originally they went from a God in a suit to a more abstract one bc i thought it looked cool, and it also gave me the thought that all designs not just made by me are cannon, bc a God changing how they look on a whim seem fun to me.
|
Anyway there's gonna be a more dedicated animatic for Lsmp which might take a minute to make bc i just had the idea like 2 days ago and now planning it out lol.

The Kickstarter for @joybottanimation’s new indie animated Galactic Defense Force Pilot was just cancelled… because it secured an institutional backer instead! 🎉

This is amazing news for the project, with the creator @rainbott saying “A relatively unknown project getting real funding? Huge win for indie animation!”
