~ Sometimes, certain spaces hold an opportunity to recognize how much you’ve grown and how much the world has changed…how much the dream can encompass a shadow. I’ve returned to hold that complexity, to see something for its wholeness and how three years in passing have led me back here, full circle, to experience everything through a new lens. Closure, clarity, and many seeds germinating for what is to come. ~ by @rainbownuggett

Sharing this into the social media void. The past year, my “needing growth in my life” self wanted to bring in more self-discipline as a practice ~ so I decided to read 20 books cover to cover. It may not seem like a huge feat but immersing into the stories and worlds of others matters a lot to me. Having the time has not been easy. I’ve been collecting an assortment of all kinds of books for years now, and many of them are half-read or I’ve come back to them in sections sporadically over time. To be fully consistent in holding one novel to completion (especially non-fiction works) throughout the entire year, is and was a deeply fulfilling practice that I intend to continue…at least, for as long as slowness allows me to.

Grateful for all of these writers for transporting me into their worlds ~
