WHERE THE BODY MEETS THE FOREST 💙
What happens when the images of a forest become part of a woman’s body?
For this series, I printed a top with cyanotype, using a selection of my photographs of trees and ethereal female figures. I wanted the branches, textures and silhouettes of the forest to dissolve into female figures, creating a new visual language where nature and the feminine body become one.

The forest is not simply a landscape. It is a body. It breathes, grows, sheds, regenerates.
And perhaps being a woman carries something of the same rhythm — the ability to transform, to contain, to bloom and disappear, to be both fragile and deeply rooted.
The cyanotype’s blue becomes a kind of memory: a trace of the trees transferred onto fabric.
For these photographs, another artist wears the piece and becomes part of this imagined landscape.
Her body is not simply wearing the images of the forest — she enters them.
Branches become extensions of her arms. Trees become skin. The landscape becomes an inner place.
A collaboration between photography, cyanotype, textile and the female body, exploring the invisible thread that connects us to the natural world.

As is traditional, on San Giovanni’s Eve I prepare Acqua di San Giovanni, the water which will sit all night under the moonlight, and which I will then use for a little ritual of renewal.
Summer has arrived ✨

Time, sunlight and the beauty of nature turn paper into a poem.

In my mother’s garden a glimpse of Italian summer.
Roses are blooming with the jasmine, smelling sweet and surrounding everything with a warm kiss.

These lumen prints are the memory of this moment of beauty.

Sun, petal and chemicals slowly across the paper — a language of contact, a map of touch.
Where flowers and chemistry meet.

Residual Light is my slow dialogue with nature — to accept its unpredictability, to listen to what a poppy will offer, and to turn absence into a preserved trace.

These prints are experiments and witnesses: cameraless captures that hold both process and place. Each work keeps the memory of being touched by sun and natural elements.
In the work-in-progress clips you can see decisions happen as the paper cools, as pigment pools and settles, as chance composes.
