Lark 🧚‍♂️💚 & Valerius 🌿💛 Back at it again with two new OCs but it’s ok I keep making new ones bc nearly all my OCs are in the same world, so it’s ok… right 😵‍💫 Well I hope so bc I can’t seem to stop myself 😪 I do have starting thoughts for all the OCs I’m making and I hope to expand on those thoughts and do some new fun things to hopefully give them more life 🥳 #oc #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

I am just having a very fantastic time indulging in OC work 😌✨ ah wow! It’s so fun 🥹 and I swear there is some method to my madness as all these OCs I’ve been making are interconnected and there’s a map going on in the background they all have surface level backstories 🙂‍↕️ and there’s some things I’m thinking of doing involving them that I’m just like really excited about 🤭 But I also just go where my inspiration takes me so who knows what you’ll see next 🙈 I’ll say though that when I was younger up to college when I stopped drawing soon after I was always creating and drawing random OCs so I feel like I’m going back to my roots here 🙈 It’s wonderful as all of these characters are inspired by things I’m really into (history, books, retro games, mythology— basically a delightful mix of things I love) I’m sure they’ll change, I’m sure I’ll get distracted and draw other things but I’m enjoying the hyperfixation as I always do 😌🫶 (Left is Orion and right is Eivind) #oc by @rainy.makes.art

Leth & Evain from The Sword-Witch’s Heart by @tavialark 🖤 I recently posted about this series on my main account and how much I thoroughly enjoyed it 🥰 I just had to draw some fanart ahh 🤭 It was so much fun drawing these two 🥹 I miss them already— which means I’m already looking forward to a reread 🙂‍↕️🥰 #tavialark by @rainy.makes.art

More Lark (OC) 💚 I really enjoyed this one! I like this kind of style between really chibi and my normal style 🤔 It was fun to explore 🤗 I’m also trying to figure out more background styles! Now I’d like to do a matching version of Val! I have another random OC pairing coming next and then I’ll be working on the giveaway illustrations 🥳 I’m already having a blast working on them and might be doing more of them in the future 🙈 only if I get enough interest ofc 🙇‍♀️🙏! #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

Luca & Art from 💛 Apricity by Paulina Ian-Kane 💛 Ahhh oh my gosh it was SO GOOD to get back into Paulina’s writing 🥰 I loved it so much I ended up reading 90% of this book in one day which is pretty unheard of for me 😳 but I looooved Luca and Art!! This one is definitely near the top for me of Paulina’s books, perhaps my second or third favorite?? “Three” still sits at the top spot though 🤭 and speaking of— Rami makes a little guest appearance in this book and I was just so thrilled eee!! 🥰 So excited to see the special edition cover reveal for this one ooooo 🤩✨ #paulinaiankanebooks by @rainy.makes.art

I kinda have this wee obsession with the idea of drawing OCs in their partner’s style of clothes 😭 I’m definitely itching to do this idea with several other OCs too 🫣 Idk if it’s been clear but Lark has definitely become one of my favorites to draw recently 🤭 #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

All of the Angels of Wrath boys from Paulina Ian-Kane’s series 🖤 ahh I love this series and Paulina’s writing! I had already done a few of these chibis before and decided to finish the set 😌 It’s so fun seeing them all together 🥺 and now I’m so excited to work on more fanart from Paulina’s other series after I finished her most recent novel 🤭 eeek!! #paulinaiankanebooks by @rainy.makes.art

I’ve been itching to create something sun & moon themed and discovered an easy excuse with creating some deity designs for the original fantasy world I’ve got going on 🤭☀️🌙 #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

I just had this thought for a soft moment and wanted to draw some simple outfits for a change 😌💜 this was a nice reprieve from all the details I’ve been focusing on lately 😵‍💫 I love my OCs so much but I’m also itching to draw some fanart too— I’m just not certain what yet so more OCs for now 🙈 #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

Oh my gosh— finally I’ve gotten an illustration done for these two 😭 I’ve been working on solidifying their designs for months and I’ve finally gotten to a point I’m content (although as with all my OCs theyre always evolving) 🙈 This was a lot of fun given it’s my first illustration set in the southern kingdom where they worship the sun god (vs the north where they worship the moon goddess— you’ll see I’m working on the designs of the deities now 🙈) not to mention in the far far north and island kingdoms they worship different gods. And in the fae kingdom across the mountains they don’t worship any 😵‍💫 I have a lot to work on to flesh all these matters out but I’m having a swell time 🥰 (For names— Alaric is on the left and Laike is on the right 💛) I was going to just focus on some more illustrations of my current OCs but then had a thought of one more couple 😩 ofc I did gah— either way more OCs galore 🥹✨ #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art

The OCs from the kingdom of Lunara continue to increase 🙈 There happens to be seven of them now 😵‍💫 I suppose I’m a bit bias to this particular setting. Medieval knights and castles with a people who worship a Moon Goddess? Don’t mind if I do 😌✨ And it’s not a surprise that I made another priest from that order 😩 Neven on the left on Wulfric on the right 😌 I’ll explain more about everyone eventually 🙈 #originalcharacters by @rainy.makes.art

I’ve had sketched this out awhile ago and finally got around to illustrating it 🥹 I had so much fun with this one and it was so refreshing as I keep struggling with finding my footing with my illustrations 🙈 But I try not to think too hard and just do my best and enjoy creating things I love 🫶 I’m so happy with working on all these OCs and the interconnected world they’re a part of, it’s so much fun!! I hope we all enjoy the joy of drawing and creating OCs more and more ☺️ #originalcharacter by @rainy.makes.art
