Love at first sight is supposed to be the beginning of a happily ever after… but what if it’s only the beginning of something far more disturbing?

“The Miracle” by Las Vegas filmmaker Dannzel Escobar (@filmstreet.us), follows Elaine and David, two strangers whose chance meeting at a café quickly blossoms into an intense romance. As their relationship deepens, hidden insecurities, clashing personalities, repressed desires, and escalating emotional volatility begin to surface, transforming an ordinary love story into a darkly comic examination of modern relationships.

Written and directed by Dannzel Escobar, The Miracle draws inspiration from classic screwball comedies while embracing a more twisted psychological edge. The film challenges the social pressure to “find the right one,” asking whether some relationships survive not because they’re meant to, but because walking away feels even harder.

Blending romance, satire, and psychological drama, The Miracle invites audiences to laugh, cringe, and perhaps even recognize pieces of themselves along the way.
