Through all the growing up, I hope they never lose the little things that make childhood so magical the silly giggles, endless curiosity, wild imagination and joy in the simplest things. ✨

May they grow up, but may the child in them always stay. 🥹❤️

If this sounds like you, you deserve support now. You don’t have to explain your pain perfectly.

You don’t have to prove that things are bad enough. Start with someone you trust:

Shubho Bijoya 🌸♥️

I didn’t post the hospital photos. I didn’t want to. But I wanted to tell you if you showed up for Puja this year with a heavy heart, you are not alone.

Ma Durga doesn’t come only when everything is perfect. She comes right in the middle of chaos. And that is her biggest blessing.

REMEMBER THIS IN THE FOURTH TRIMESTER:

Love, emotional closeness, and sexual desire are connected for some people, but they are not the same thing. When resentment builds, emotional needs go unmet, or affection starts to feel like an expectation of sex, intimacy can become difficult. by @raising_shaan

Postpartum Depression Is Real. And A Mother’s Mental Health Matters. ❤️

In this episode of the Parenting & Wellness Podcast, Shreya Mitra joins us for an important conversation about the signs of postpartum depression and what every mother and family should be watchful of.

Motherhood is not always filled with happiness. Sometimes, behind the smile, a mother may be struggling with sadness, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, guilt, or feelings of being overwhelmed.

👶 We often focus on the baby’s health, but who is taking care of the mother?

Recognizing the signs of postpartum depression and seeking timely professional support can make a meaningful difference. A mother deserves care, compassion, understanding, and support—not judgment.

💗 Take early action. Support the mother. Protect her mental well-being.

Really grateful to be part of a conversation that feels so close to my heart — the fourth trimester, maternal mental health, and how much a mother needs her village postpartum. 🤍

When I became a mother ten years ago, so many of these conversations were still taboo. Talking about what motherhood actually felt like, the struggles, the mental health challenges were rarely talked about.

Somewhere along my own journey, my purpose became to talk about the lesser-talked-about parts of motherhood and help break the silence around maternal mental health.

So being part of something that creates space for these conversations genuinely means a lot to me.

Loved meeting and chatting with @gauaharkhan, @tanejamainhoon and @debinabon. And the icing on the cake was finally meeting @ririitrivedi. After years of knowing each other on the internet and planning to meet, we finally met on set! 🥹❤️

Grateful for opportunities that make room for the conversations mothers have needed for a long time. by @raising_shaan

Durga Puja is devotion, family, and making memories — and of course, deciding what the little one will wear! 😍

This year Shaan’s outfits are from Tura Turi from FirstCry.

Loved the design detail but what I loved more is how soft & comfortable it is for a full day of celebrations.

If you’re shopping, use my code *ShrMiDP26* — 50% OFF Fashion | 42% OFF everything else on FirstCry.

Shubho Mahalaya! 🙏✨

The Cornell University case has shaken me as a boy mom. Seven frat brothers at Cornell drugged and assaulted a student for nearly seven hours. One sent a snapchat about “free p*ssy” to all of the frat brothers... and no one did anything to stop it.

Also, the recent news in India about rapes and molestations, it just worries me so much as a parent .Consent is not one awkward talk at 16. We teach it when theyre little.
We need to teach them to speak up even if it means going against a friend. And here’s a version that I feel is fair enough to have a conversation with a pre teen.

Let me know what you think and if it’s helpful.
Share it with more parents so they know how to have the talk.

Therapy helps you to see what is happening. This isn’t a pro divorce post.
If something doesn’t feel right, you deserve support in understanding it without fear, shame or pressure.

If slides 3–6 felt a little too familiar,
please know this:

You are not alone.

And asking for help is not failure.

Share it with a mother who needs to hear:
you’re not overthinking everything.
