Hey neighbor - did you know there’s a public question on the ballot this November?

I spent my Saturday canvassing my community to tell my neighbors about Public Question 1, which could allow judges to have full authority over bail. I’m voting NO on this question because people are innocent until proven guilty. Not the other way around.

Indiana’s decision to roll back M/WBE programs is a blatant attack on thousands of small, minority-owned and women-owned businesses working every day to earn a fair opportunity to compete.

Let’s be clear: M/WBE companies were never guaranteed state contracts. We knew that. But, it gave us access and put us in the room to compete on a level playing field. So we thought.

I believe we should always be expanding opportunities for small businesses, not reducing them.

But I also believe in action.

That’s why this October, The Holliday Collaborative Agency will host a Small Business Opportunity Workshop to connect entrepreneurs with corporations, nonprofits and other organizations that are actively looking to do business with small businesses. If one door closes, we’ll help you find another.

More details are coming soon. Let’s keep building, growing and creating opportunities, together. #SupportSmallBusiness #Entrepreneur #BusinessOpportunities by @ramal39

Honored to be attending today's House Committee on Small Business session on Capitol Hill.

Serving on the Leadership Council for the National Small Business Association, along with my work with the Indiana Chamber and Indy Chamber, gives me the opportunity to advocate for the entrepreneurs and small business owners who keep our communities strong.

I'm passionate about building relationships with policymakers to help ensure small businesses have the resources, support, and connections they need to grow and succeed. They are the backbone of our economy, creating jobs, driving innovation, and strengthening communities across the country.

Grateful to have a seat at the table and the opportunity to help make sure the voices of small businesses are heard.

Excited to kick off the day at the Defense Human Resources Activity’s Small Business Summit!

A special thank you to DHRA and Natalie Rosa for organizing an informative and impactful event focused on helping small businesses better understand how to partner with and support the agency’s mission. Looking forward to a day of learning, networking, and exploring opportunities to serve the federal government. #SmallBusiness #GovernmentContracting #DHRA #FederalContracting #SmallBusinessSummit by @ramal39

This year’s Kentucky Derby reminded me of something powerful.

Golden Tempo ran its race.

Not the crowd’s race.
Not the pace everyone else set.
Its race.

Golden Tempo stayed disciplined. Stayed focused. Didn’t get distracted by who was ahead or how far behind it looked. And when the moment came… it surged.

That’s how life works.

You don’t have to lead early to finish strong.
You don’t have to compare your journey to anyone else’s.

Stay trained. Stay focused. Stay consistent.

Because your moment is coming.

Run your race. 🏁

Being a precinct committeeman (PC) is where the real grassroots work happens, and I’m proud to serve my neighborhood in this role. For me, it’s all about making sure my neighbors feel informed and confident when they head to the polls.

Tonight, I’m out walking the precinct, knocking on doors and leaving information behind to help keep folks in the loop. It’s simple work, but it matters, and it means a lot to me to be able to do it.

Early voting is already underway, so if you’re looking for more information, check out vote.indy.gov.
