Broker open houses aren’t just a fun way to spend a Wednesday.

Knowing the inventory, especially right here in our own town, is an important part of what we do.

Yes, we see the listing alerts. We study the photos, pricing and property details. But there’s no substitute for actually walking through a home.

Seeing it in person gives us a much better sense of the layout, condition, location and overall feel. And very often, while we’re walking through, a buyer immediately comes to mind.

The more homes we see, the better we know the market. And that helps us advise both our buyers and our sellers.

We had the opportunity to represent longtime friends on the sale and also brought the buyer, a longtime past client. In fact, both sides were past clients, which made this even more meaningful.

✨ Sometimes the best connections happen when you least expect them! ✨

Back in June, my husband and I were having lunch in NJ with our friend Alan from Pound Ridge, NY. He happened to run into someone he knew, and during their conversation, the gentleman mentioned he was looking to buy a home.
