We are so proud and grateful to have been selected for over 10 festivals! Pictured: @woodsholefilmfestival @iffboston @atlfilmsociety Locals Only It feels so good to close the loop on this film we pulled off on a skeleton crew and a scrappy budget. Onward and upward! “The Desk” 50s period piece we shot last summer across New York and New Jersey. We were lucky enough to get full access to film on Princeton’s campus, including in Albert Einstein’s original office - which the institute helped us to recreate using his original documents from the archive. Apparently we were the first production to film there since Oppenheimer! Punk Foodie | Bertolozi’s 🍕 I spent the summer shooting a short doc with Danny Huber, the chef/owner of Bertolozi’s pizzeria, for @punkfoodie.atl Danny’s officially opening his first brick and mortar pizzeria this month after he spent the past year and a half hosting pop-ups and working out of a food stall (while getting some of the best pizza ratings in the city). If you’re in Atlanta, come check him out! And while you’re at it, check out the full doc on my website. It tells the story of Danny’s journey to starting his restaurant, from his childhood love of pizza to the hustle of grinding out pop-ups. “Way Gone” is finally out in the world! I’ve had this short burning a hole through my hard drive the last year and figured it was finally time to give it a home. Shot over a week back in August of 2022, the summer after my sophomore year of college from a wonderful and strange script by Harrison Fuller. Late one night that summer, the two of us decided we needed to make a film and a few weeks later, we pulled together some friends, grabbed Harrison’s FX3 and shot this before we went back to school. Took me the next year and a half to whittle it down to a watchable 24 minutes. Huge thanks to Jared and the whole ensemble cast for giving their all to the strange vision of two college underclassmen. And to Charlie for writing an evocative score that drives the whole film. Premiering with @retrospective_of_jupiter link in the bio.
