I got the old Scheerhorn Reso-lectric out and did a multi configuration of @teegardenaudio PPC-125 mics using RTZ preamps and eq's followed by @rupert_neve 543 compressors, a clean DI using a @RTZ -1256 D.I, and a dirty distortion track with my @littlewaltertubeamps 10 watt amp. Lots of tonal opportunities for the mix engineer at mix time. Holler if you'd like your own tracks of it! by @randykohrs

So thrilled to have produced and recorded this album for the Garrett Boys at my Room & Board Studio here in Nashville . Thx to my buddies Steve Earle , Randy Kohrs and Darrell Scott for being guest artists . Great working with you guys !! It’s out now on all platforms .
“We made it! Happy Release Day!! Our Debut Album “It Runs Deep” is available anywhere you find music! This journey has been quite the labor of love. Full of joy, excitement and pride of seeing this concept come to life, but it has not come easily. We lost the two most influential Garrett Boys (Grandad and Dad/G-Pa) along the way. We hope it makes them proud! Thanks to the countless people who helped make this a reality. And thanks to all of you for caring enough to listen!”

With great sadness, we let our followers know that we lost our beloved studio pup, Coulter today. She was a rescue and was saved on her last day during the weekend of the Nashville flood in May of 2010. She was a few months old at the time, so, that makes her a sweet sixteen dog and we loved her for every minute of all of those years. She made memories that I will never forget, and gave our studio here extra love and warmth that our clients know very well.

Rest easy girl, the lord knows how much we miss you already. Tell Brindle Lee I miss her, too when you reunite. You are now with all of my family that have gone on before and they will make sure you are blessed with everything you need beyond this realm.

I've added a fundraiser for Agape so that Coulter can help give other pups a beautiful life just like she had. Thank you so much to those who generously donate in her honor. She was a one of a kind. Nipper, our studio pittie and I are missing her deeply tonight.

R.I.P., Denzel, or as most know you, “Santa”. I cherished our friendship and have Pepper Denny to thank for us getting to meet to begin with. My circle is growing smaller with each passing year it seems, but know that I will forever have the fondest memories together. Get Robby Turner to pick you one on the steel tonight and know you made a massive difference in many peoples lives while you were here, and so many already miss you terribly. I hope the news stations I interviewed with today captured the sincerity from which I spoke of you. Rest well, my friend and save a seat close by for me when it’s my time.

I’m so happy to have my 1970 Shobud Pro 2 Steel guitar back from a proper restoration from Jeff Surratt at @ShowProSteelGuitars. He added some new tricks to make this old dog bark again. This is the last guitar Duane Marrs ever touched, and he square stocked it underneath. It’s all ready to be put to work once again.
