We’ve had some pretty iconic projects over the years. Some have even been the talk of the town. 😉 And if there’s one thing we know about Rangeley, it’s that everyone loves a good construction mystery……

Now, I know there’s one particular project in town that none of us can stop talking about. And I know there’s a burning question swirling around in all of your minds…

But I’m sorry to report that, as of 5:38 a.m. Tuesday morning, I STILL don’t know if the Depot Street parking lot will be available for use tomorrow night. 😂

What I CAN tell you is that we’re definitely hosting Business After Hours tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, at 5 p.m.!

The rear parking lot is still open and available, or get here early and snag one of our spots!

Come catch up with your neighbors, and maybe even find something new to talk about. Most likely Fred’s outfit.

There’s some serious steel going into our #SageViewCamp, check out this moment frame starting to take shape!

Curious about how that works…. Dube and Phil will both be at our Business After Hours on Wednesday, October 14th at 5 PM! Come have a drink, check out our shop, and ask them all your burning questions about what it takes to make a build like this happen.

And if structural steel isn’t your thing, there’s always plenty of other construction talk to be had. Or you can always just come to meet Fred.

Disclaimer: No carpenters will be required to mingle at this event.

There’s something pretty exciting about seeing a project make the jump from paper to reality!

Framing is underway at #SageViewCamp, and the crew has been making some serious progress.

And speaking of the crew… if you’ve ever wanted to meet the talent behind these builds, come see us!

We’re hosting Business After Hours Wednesday, October 14 at 5 PM in the shop. Come tour the shop and meet the people who actually make all these ideas happen!

I’ve been trying to find the perfect dusty blue for an upcoming project. And debating a stained wood countertop. And then… I remembered 2023 Jill had my back. 😂

Turns out I already figured this one out.

Still love this kitchen three years later — the dusty blue cabinetry, warm wood countertop, natural pine and black accents. Sometimes the best inspiration is hiding in your own camera roll. 🤎

Head over to our stories and I’ll show you what I’ve been cooking up in Dusty blue, it’s very deVOL. 💫

You know the old saying, the cobbler’s children never have shoes? Well… apparently the builder’s office never gets remodeled. 😂

We’ve heard the whispers around town. Our office building needs a little love. We know, we know! In our defense, we’ve been so busy working on everyone else’s projects that ours keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

And then, when the vinyl siding came off, the designer (🙋‍♀️ me) discovered the outline of what the original window trim looked like. So OBVIOUSLY we couldn’t just put it back together and call it a day. We had to recreate it. Because why make something simple when you can turn it into a historic restoration project? 😂

So… patience, patience while we slowly resurrect our late-1800s beauty. I, said designer, also have some pretty big plans for the front. But remember, guys: PATIENCE. We do actually have paying customers. 😂

And hey — if you’d like to come give us your suggestions, feedback, or simply inspect our progress in person, we’re hosting Business After Hours Wednesday, October 14th at 5:00 in the shop! Come have a drink, say hi, and I’ll personally give you a tour of the window trim Nik has been absolutely knocking out of the park.

And if you’re still here… swipe through and check out what else we managed to get done this week while apparently neglecting our own building. 😉🔨

A little update on our #CottageOnTheRocks!

I wanted to share the exterior finishes because I’m in love with how it’s all coming together. Oxford Brown stain, Terratone windows, and Wethersfield Moss window trim. Woodsy, rustic, and very Rangeley. 🤎🌲

Can’t wait to see this one continue to take shape!

Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to travel more than 1000 miles across Maine! From Blue Hill to Rangeley and many places in between to photograph spaces for @mainehomedesign Art at Home feature, a lookbook celebrating art, craft and design.

I’m so excited to see it all come together in print in the September issue.

Many thanks to @danielledevinedesign and @kbowe2 and the MHD team. Special thanks to @neilemcmahon for the driving and assisting!
