POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to travel more than 1000 miles across Maine! From Blue Hill to Rangeley and many places in between to photograph spaces for @mainehomedesign Art at Home feature, a lookbook celebrating art, craft and design.

I’m so excited to see it all come together in print in the September issue.

Many thanks to @danielledevinedesign and @kbowe2 and the MHD team. Special thanks to @neilemcmahon for the driving and assisting!

A view within a view. 🤎

Progress on the entry at our #TwoLakesLodge project, where the stonework is becoming a view all its own. Stoneyard’s Boston Mosaic brings so much natural texture and character to this space—but look a little closer and you’ll catch the views through the windows, across the interior, and out to the landscape beyond.

Layers of stone, architecture, and scenery all lining up just right. We can’t wait to see this entry finished.

We’re back at it with longtime clients, pulling together the palette for their bathroom remodel—and this one quickly became a favorite.

The inspiration? Rangeley, of course, the water, nature and the gorgeous colors right outside our doors.

Watery blue-greens, soft stone, river pebbles and just a little fish pattern come together with this incredible Ocean Green quartzite.

This is the part of the design process we love: laying everything out, moving pieces around, finding the unexpected combination, and watching an idea suddenly click.

Selections for the #BrookieBath done ✔️

I just love this shot. It's so memorable because it wasn't on the shot list. But sometimes on location just the right moment of light, building materials, furnishings, art, textiles, and maybe the perfect lamp just snaps to my attention. And thanks to @rangeleybuilders that let me take a few moments to make this picture, to constructively play a bit and find a vignette that really tells the story of a place, of the work that went into making it feel alive..and a bit of what it's like to be there.

Loved photographing this beautiful project in Rangeley, Maine by @rangeleybuilders.

With views like this the interiors are designed to take full advantage of the surrounding views. 😍

Swipe to see the view looking back at the exterior at dusk and hear a little bit of those early fall nature sounds at sunset.

Looking back to this @rangeleybuilders project for #fireplacefriday. They incorporated Old New England Rounds for this interior fireplace. Paired with an incredible living space this area highlights the best of natural materials.
