International Raccoon Appreciation Day is tomorrow, October 1. Choose your priorities accordingly.⁣
⁣
Need to raise your raccoon fact count before then? Start here: raccoons aren't really washing their food. Their paws get even more sensitive underwater, so they're feeling it.⁣
⁣
Send this to the person who has already told you three raccoon facts this week. by @rangerrickmags

Sea otters in the same bay are not eating the same dinner. Not even close.

Each one works a short personal menu, a few prey types out of everything available, and mostly ignores the rest. Most of the technique comes from her mother. She eats about a quarter of her body weight every day, so getting very good at a few things beats being passable at everything.

One of these four has purple teeth because of it.

Pick a number and follow your line.
