🏀💚 2026/27 VJBL TRYOUTS: REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN 💛🏀

The journey to becoming a Dandenong Ranger starts here!

Registrations are now open for our 2026/27 VJBL tryouts, with five stages taking place across October.

All domestic and new boys who have never previously played VJBL must attend our dedicated session for Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 boys on:
📅 Sunday 20 September 2026

Tryout stages:

🏀 Stage One: Saturday 3 October
All age groups

🏀 Stage Two: Sunday 4 October
All age groups

🏀 Stage Three:

Tuesday 6 October: Under 18 Girls and all Boys age groups

Wednesday 7 October: Under 16 Boys only

Thursday 8 October: Under 12 Girls, Under 14 Girls and Under 16 Girls only

🏀 Stage Four: Friday 9 October
All age groups

🏀 Stage Five: Sunday 11 October

🏀 PINK BALL IS BACK FOR TERM 4! 💗

A girls-only basketball program designed to help young players learn, play, grow and belong in a fun and supportive environment.

Players will work on:
🏀 Ball handling, shooting and game fundamentals
⭐ Building confidence
👭 Making new friends
💗 Developing a love for the game

The next generation of Rangers is ready to take the court!

Future Rangers is designed for our youngest athletes who want to take the next step towards representative basketball.

⭐ Players born in 2018 & 2019 are eligible to try out.

Successful athletes will take part in:

🏀 3 blocks of specialised training
🏆 3 basketball tournaments
💪 Skill development, teamwork and game experience
💚 A pathway designed to prepare young players for future Dandenong Rangers representative basketball

Sunday 22nd November
12.30pm – 2pm

Future Rangers gives young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, learn how representative basketball works and experience playing together as a Rangers team.

🇦🇺 RANGER SELECTED FOR AUSTRALIA! 💚💛

A huge congratulations to Dandenong Rangers’ Milica Mrdic, who has been selected to represent Australia at the FIBA U15 Oceania Cup this November! 🏀

Milica will cross the Tasman with the Australian team to compete in Auckland from 30 November to 5 December, with the tournament returning to Aotearoa / New Zealand for the first time in more than 11 years.

An incredible achievement and a fantastic reward for Milica’s hard work and dedication.
