Charlie’s first rep practise match against Sandringham with his new @rangersbball rep team. A different kind of basketball that he was nervous for to begin with but once he got on the court, absolutely loved it 🏀

Big ambitions start with the work you do now. 💪🔥

Some of our Fusion HP junior athletes putting in the work to become stronger, move better and build confidence for the demands of footy and basketball.

Preparing for footy preseason or the 2028 VJBL season? Your physical preparation deserves the same attention as your skills.

At Fusion HP, our Long & Strong program brings purpose to that preparation:

✅ Individual programming matched to your development and goals
✅ Coached strength training focused on technique
✅ Speed, movement and conditioning to support your sport
✅ Progress tracking and accountability through TeamBuildr
✅ A supportive environment that challenges you to keep improving

For parents, it means structured, supervised training with a clear purpose. For athletes, it’s an opportunity to build the physical foundations and training habits that support the next step in their pathway.

Selection is competitive. Start building your preparation now.

🔥 GIVE YOURSELF THE EDGE THIS OFF-SEASON.

The season might finish. The work doesn’t.

For junior athletes, the off-season is where you can make your biggest gains — get stronger, move better, build speed and arrive at VJBL ready to perform.

At Fusion High Performance, we don’t train athletes just to get through a session. We build programs designed to help young athletes develop for the next level.

🏀 Build strength
⚡ Improve speed & power
💪 Become more durable
📈 Develop better training habits
🎯 Prepare properly for VJBL, AFL and Netball Seasons

Parents: if your athlete wants to take their sport seriously, give them an environment that will challenge them, coach them and help them progress.

Athletes: don’t wait until the season starts to get ready.

GET YOUR EDGE NOW. 🦈

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO Maxwell Benger!

A massive congratulations to Maxwell, who was recently selected to represent Basketball Victoria at the U14 National Club Championships in Perth!

Maxwell had an outstanding week, capped off with his appointment to officiate the Girls Shield Gold Medal Match!

An incredible achievement and fantastic recognition of his performances throughout the tournament. This is a significant milestone for our very own DBA referee and a true reflection of Maxwell’s commitment, dedication and talent.

Congratulations, Maxwell!

People call this a “cross-jab” but to be more technical to the I’m Possible terminology, it’s a release push cross with an inverted load step. 🫡

A huge week in Willetton, Western Australia, saw our Berwick College Basketball Academy athletes represent their respective rep clubs at the U14 Club National Championships.

Year 8 student Destiny Windsor helped the Casey Cavaliers secure a brilliant bronze medal in the U14 Girls competition.

Year 7 students Zara Edwards, Lucia Castro, Arabella Eriya and Lillie Blacka represented the Dandenong Rangers, finishing fifth after a hard-fought overtime battle against West Adelaide.

The Dandenong Rangers boys’ team was also packed with Berwick talent. Year 7 students Toby Hilton, Kobe Constance, Spencer Lim, Brodie Scott and Carter Rivet helped the team claim bronze after defeating the Sturt Sabres.

It was also fantastic to see Miss Boorer and former Academy athlete Phoenix Windsor involved as members of the Casey coaching staff.

This was an outstanding achievement by everyone involved at one of Basketball Australia’s prestigious junior tournaments. It was wonderful to see so much Berwick representation on the national stage!
