My first Labyrinth since they were at Park Plaza! My Muppets bodice was called into action once more and received lots of compliments. Now I need to find the fabric I have left and see if there’s enough to make any sort of a skirt! by @raniself

Long before social media, there were cabinet cards: 1800’s studio portraits that families displayed on parlor mantels. Now, straight from the pages of @travislouie’s new book Curious Circumstances, we’ve got a first look at the dapper denizens who’ve been sitting for their portraits in that same vintage style.

Each of these vintage style cards will be foil pressed, so we’ve even included a look at # 158 above, which will have the honor of gracing them. ✨

Stunning Costume Institute exhibit, Costume Art, at The Met right now! It shows costume/fashion design next to the inspiration materials. It was a good way to round out all the exhibits I saw on my trip. taken in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York by @raniself

New York has some ridiculous bakeries, and by ridiculous, I mean ridiculously good. Cardamom buns and ham and cheese croissant, all washed down by an iced cardamom latte. by @raniself

Captains Log: A little catch up part 1. Ireland. 1. Robert Smith, The Cure in Ireland was a literal dream. 2. Mirna, Rani and I trying not to melt waiting for them to start. 3. Super Heroes watching over Dublin 4 & 5. The Book of Kells. Could not take photos of the book pages on display. It’s beautiful. 6 & 7. The Long Room in the old Library at Trinity College. So cool. 8. Monument to the Potato Famine. 9. A gentle reminder that if you touch “dog dirt” you will go blind. 10. Searching for a shanty 11. Found said shanty ( that’s a half pint) I was an embarrassment to the Irish people lol 12. One last Trinity. by @raniself
