I’m humbled and grateful to have worked with my dear friends @shunsuke_anai & @rina_anai for @kissa_takenokuma again, this time illustrating the summer season. This design is meant to capture the peaceful feeling of sitting on the engawa, resting in the natural beauty of Takenokuma. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my favorite place to visit is Takenokuma in Minamioguni. And I wouldn’t be speaking lightly when I say that Shunsuke & Rina and those I’ve met in this part of Japan have become some of the most important people to me. This series is one of the most meaningful projects I have worked on and I’m deeply grateful to @ransomltd & @parkerfitzhenry for being the connection to such precious friendships.
