Tiger trout ✅

This species has been at the top of the list of freshwater fish to catch for many years.
The unique golden colour and crazy stripe patterns make this fish incredibly sought after by many anglers.
To finally catch one of these incredible fish and being among friends while doing it makes for a day we will never forget!

Epic kelpy snap in the shallows! After battling some 20-25kn winds at the brett we decided to head home. A quick stop off in the shallows produced this awesome snapper for max. Big thanks to @rapalanz for the new net. We haven’t owned a net for years and now it’s the most used tool on the boat 😂. by @rapalanz

We took a break from painting and went to get some snapper for dinner. 20lb leader, my very own SPL rod, Crush City Glow Shad and a 30 minutes scrap to get him to the boat! A welcomed bycatch for sure! taken in Lake Taupo by @rapalanz
