POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

STOLEN SCHOOL confronts the reality that desegregation wasn’t good for everyone.

In 1967, the local school district in Evanston, IL “desegregated” its schools by closing Foster School, the all-Black neighborhood school in the historically Black 5th ward. For nearly 60 years, children who live there have been bussed all across Evanston. Stolen School features the voices and stories of Foster School students, 5th Ward residents, educators, civil servants, and activists who describe their devastating losses and chronicle their ongoing fight to get their school back.

Screening tomorrow @nublockmuseum — RSVP in bio!

This is a special one. It’s been quite the year, but there’s always goodness nearby to appreciate. Big love to my friends, family, and teammates in creation — I’m grateful to experience this thing called life with you. Here’s to another 45, at minimum. 🙏🏾❤️😎 by @raphaelnash

It’s that time of year in production where there’s a RUSH to wrap up projects, and a bit of a HUSH from potential new clients. C’est La Vie. We should be used to it by now.

That said, we’re open for business through December 21st, then it’s break time. Reach out for all of your production needs 🎥🎬✊🏾
