Mother-Son trip to Indonesia Part 2
We made it the East of Sumbawa after an 8 hour taxi ride! Very grateful to our driver, Wawan! Right side of the car and left side of the road in a new place is a little too much for my brain!
Lakey Peak does not disappoint! Jesse has gotten some good waves here too- in between swells. We have enjoyed the sunsets, food, people and animals! Lots of solitaire and rummy cube as well!

Mother-son trip to Sumbawa, Indonesia! Three planes, two taxis, one ferry ride and 36 hours later, we arrived at Scar Reef. Our first destination. Beautiful village, beaches, food and people! The surf has been pumping for Jesse and I’m fully enjoying watching him, walking the hills, swimming the crystal ocean, and reading books I have been wanting to get to! I have even been playing volleyball with the locals who meet everyday at 5:00pm play. by @rapp.trip

So proud of this guy! He worked his way to the finals of the NSSA Varsity High School State Championships representing the Edison Chargers! Upstate New York….WE ❤️ YOU! From Bath. to Kueka lake, to Niagra Falls, to Buffalo. Highlights were exploring the small town my mother grew up in and spending time with family! The boys rode dirt bikes, surfed off a boat wake, and fished a ton! Thanks to Mark and Kate for having us at the lake house! Ended our time in NY at Niagra Falls and ate some wings in Buffalo. Eli has made plans to rerun next summer! by @rapp.trip

Surf-Skating down Pennsylvania Avenue in our nations’s capitol. Doesn’t happen everyday! The street was closed for a parade and we took full advantage! Such a beautiful place to explore! by @rapp.trip

The adventure continues! From Waco, to Memphis, to Nashville, through the Great Smokey Mountains, and out to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Highlights for sure were the Civil Rights museum, listening to live blues and country, testing expensive guitars, rafting the Smokey’s, and surfing/camping with East coast family in the OBX! by @rapp.trip

What a year this week has been! From Costa Mesa to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, to Roswell, to Carlsbad Caverns, to Waco! Caravaning with the Moreno family and creating memories to last a lifetime! The United States are beautiful (and really hot in the summer)! More to come, I promise! by @rapp.trip
