Red Bull Day In The Dirt 27 @glenhelenraceway. This is my way of ringing in the holidays; shooting motocross racing at it's finest with my long time friends @mark_kiel_photography, @mystajohnson and @theorangeshirtguyvideos on Thanksgiving weekend every year. A huge thank you to @41kenny @ernie.alexander.5 and @timschmidttx for granting us full access to the nonstop action, and making the best event of the year happen once again! by @rappensuncle

Frogtown Classic Days 2023 @frogtownclassicbmxdays Downhill BMX racing just like I remember from the 70's, only on vintage, mid school and modern bikes. What's not to like? It was an amazing weekend! @fasthouse_

Good times @dirtyfest old-school style downhill BMX racing last Saturday - just like 70's NBA racing only with a hydraulic starting gate and tons of EZ-ups. A huge "Thank You" to the Dirty Knobs crew and all the sponsors for their hard work and support in putting together this epic event! Slideshow link in bio

Back in the Spring of 2019 my good friend Steve Firestien handed me an envelope containing three photo file pages of transparencies. He told me he bought them at a garage sale and asked if I was interested in scanning them. I was all over it! But I wanted to scan them with my camera instead of my usual go to Nikon LS-50. Long story short, I built my stabilizing setup using an old Omega B22 enlarger and use a Nikon SB-800 for illumination. I shot these with my Nikon Z6II with 105mm f/2.8 lens.

Neither Steve or I know the photographer(s) who shot this set of images. We are hoping we will get some background on the shoots and possibly find the owner. Some are dated and span from 1977 to 1982
